IGN heeft een preview online gezet van Call of Duty: World at War. Hoewel er al veel previews verschenen zijn, wordt er in deze preview toch weer heel wat nieuwe info vrijgegeven over het aankomende Call of Duty-deel. Zo worden de screenshots van het vliegtuig die afgelopen week verschenen wat verduidelijkt en wordt er het één en ander onthuld over het Russische deel van de singleplayer campagne.
Wat opvalt is dat men het vliegtuig-concept heeft overgenomen van de AC-130 gunship missie uit Call of Duty 4 en heeft overgezet in WWII stijl. It would be easy to assume that the Catalina mission is based strictly off of the AC-130 Gunship mission from Call of Duty IV: Modern Warfare, a level that was both haunting and memorable for its similarity to real-world gun camera footage. However, that would be doing a bit of a disservice. Four years ago, Treyarch developed Call of Duty: United Offensive, the expansion pack to the original Call of Duty on the PC, and it featured a level where you manned various machine guns on a US bomber over Germany.

en als ik eerlijk moet zijn dat vliegtuig level in CoD4 was geen uitdaging aan. |

Ik weet niet wat et is, maar ik heb er niet zown gevoel over als dat ik altijd heb gehad bij de 'upcomming' cod games. Ik hoop dat et leuk word, ik speel eerst die demo, en waarschijnlijk koop ik em ook wel om mn cod collectie volledig te houden! |

Het is een groot vliegtuig, en je moet schieten op een Japanse vloot van schepen. Omdat er weinig bemanning isin het vliegtuig, moet je steeds naar een andere gun lopen en je moet de instructies opvolgen van je commander.
