Activision heeft zijn verontschuldigingen aangeboden nadat een medewerker van de uitgever concurrent Gearbox zeer bekritiseerde. In een recent interview verklaarde Noah Heller – senior producer bij Activision – dat de nieuwe game van Gearbox absoluut niet als concurrent wordt beschouwd voor Call of Duty: World at War. Heller beschouwt Hell’s Highway als een ‘slechte oorlogsgame’.
 De uitspraken werden gedaan tijdens een Call of Duty: World at War persevenement. Activision benadrukt dat niemand in het ontwikkelteam zo over het team van Gearbox denkt en de dat ze veel respect hebben voor de maker van Brothers in Arms. |

Vergeet niet dat BIA:HH nu al 2 jaar is uitgestelt, hij hoorde eigenlijk tegelijk met COD3 uit te komen. En Call of duty 3 en The big Red One waren niet bagger, het was alleen slecht dat ze niet op de PC kwamen. |

Waarschijnlijk is BIA HH geen concurent voor COD WAW (world at war). Brothers in Arms is gewoon stukke beter dan COD, tenminste dat vind ik.
Bij BIA is het realistisch een oorlog spelen, als je geraakt wordt kan je niet ergens achter gaan schuilen, even uitademen en weer helemaal 'levend' zijn. Daarbij moet je echt tactiek gebruiken anders kom je nergens. Zelfs op het makkelijkste level.
En BIA HH ziet er gewoon prachtig uit + de autentiteit van de omgeving, dorpjes en plaatsjes, wapens (reageren en hebben hetzelfde effect als in het echt), de verhaallijn en je broederschap tussen de soldaten is super!
Bij CoD is het meestal gewoon rennen en schieten, als je geraakt bent ergens achter gaan zitten en het komt wel goed.
Maarja ieder zo zijn eigen mening, CoD is voor een ander soort gamer gemaakt dan BIA. |
