| Nintendo geeft informatie over Wii |

De kogel is door de kerk. Bij verschillende persbijeenkomsten her en der verspreid over de wereld kwam Nintendo uit de tent met de langverwachte informatie over de Wii. Release in Amerika: 19 november, kosten: $250 dollar. Release in Japan: 2 december, $213 dollar. Informatie voor Europa? Nee, dat is er niet.
Beetje vreemd, maar meer informatie over de Wii in Europa zal morgen aan de beurt komen. Tot nu toe weten we dat gamers keuze hebben uit meer dan 25 launch titels met een prijskaartje van $50 (omgerekend 60 euro). De Virtual Console games zullen tussen de $5-$10 gaan kosten. Volgens Nintendo zullen er maar liefst 4 miljoen Wii’s eind 2006 op de markt zijn. Ook internetmogelijkheden genoeg voor de Wii. Met je tv surfen op het web, kijken naar het weer en nieuws (dan wel alleen in Amerika) en de nodige multimedia mogelijkheden; allemaal beschikbaar op de Wii.
De release van de Wii brengt ook gelijk een releasedatum mee voor Call of Duty 3. Naar verwachting zal het spel verschijnen als launchtitel.
Update
Inmiddels is bekend dat de Wii op 8 december in de Europese winkels zal liggen, samen gebundeld met Wii-Sports, een Wii remote en een Nunchbuck te koop voor een bedrag van €249. Tussen de 15 en 20 launchtitels zullen er verkrijgbaar zijn, waaronder Red Steel, Need for Speed: Carbon, Super Monkey Ball: Banana Blitz en Tony Hawk s Downhill Jam. Een titel is al voor 49 en 59 euro te koop. Lukt het Treyarch 8 december te halen met Call of Duty 3? |
