Activision, de uitgever van de Call of Duty-serie, gaat zoals we weten binnenkort samensmelten met Vivendi. In een interview met Bobby Kotick, de directeur van Activision, wordt er flink uitgehaald naar concurrent Electronic Arts. De vraag was namelijk hoe Activision zijn groei realiseert. Het antwoord van Kotich hierop is dat de studio veel aandacht heeft voor kwaliteit en innovatie, maar hij voegde daaraan toe: "Het is bijna het tegenovergestelde van Electronic Arts, die hebben ontwikkeling gestandaardiseerd. Electronic Arts heeft goed werk gedaan door de zielen uit de ontwikkelaars halen die het heeft overgenomen." Toch zit er een kern van waarheid in, want EA heeft al eerder aangegeven dat sommige overnames van ontwikkelaars verkeerd zijn uitgevoerd. |

EA vindt ik trouw aan Mohaa spelers, EA heeft over de jaren veel mohaa games uit gebracht, soms slaat het spel aan ( met veel patchs) maar voor de meeste mohaa spelers is EA nog goed in hun ogen.
Sims is nog voor veel vrouwen HET SPEL.
Er zijn veel nieuwe game ontwikkelers uit daar, die niet aan de bak komen door DE GROTE bedrijven. Ik vindt thuis moders nog better dan de industrie.

EA koopt alles op, ontslaan de helft van de mensen, melken iedere game uit to de laatste druppel die uit het pikkie valt, en de games die ze maken zijn NOOIT vernieuwend, het gaat alleen nog maar om geld. Pure marketing. Die mensen van CoD houden van wat ze doen. Zo moet het ook zijn! |
