CoD 4 krijgt geen extra singeplayer-content

Infinity Ward heeft aan het publiek laten weten dat de ontwikkelaar van Call of Duty 4 momenteel niet bezig is met het maken van extra content voor in de singeplayer-campagne.

Infinity Ward laat weten dat de mensen die Call of Duty 4 hebben vaak veel meer waarde hechten aan de multiplayer en de singeplayer wat meer links laten liggen.

Infinity Ward kiest dus liever voor de grote vraag naar multiplayer-content om de gamers tevreden te stellen. Dit gaat dan wel ten kosten van het aantal mensen die wel graag de singleplayer willen spelen. De eerste tijd hoeven we dus niet echt content te verwachten voor de singeplayer, maar Infinity Ward laat wel weten dat niets uitgesloten moet worden.

Dat Infinity Ward zich aan het richten is op de multiplayer-content is te merken, aangezien er binnen enkele dagen al een aantal nieuwe mappen voor de Xbox 360 beschikbaar zullen zijn. De PS3 moet echter wat langer wachten, want deze mappen zullen medio april verschijnen.
