Als het aan Infinity Ward ligt zal het bedrijf Call of Duty 4 nog een lange tijd ondersteunen qua patches en mappacks. De game kent online behoorlijk grote successen en Infinity Ward wil ervoor zorgen dat gebruikers nog langer plezier zullen beleven aan het spel.
Robert Bowling, een Infinity Ward community manager, heeft al laten weten dat er binnenkort een aantal nieuwe dingen klaar zullen staan voor Call of Duty 4. Zo mogen Xbox 360- en PlayStation 3 gebruikers volgens Robert Bowling binnenkort genieten van een nieuwe mappack. Over deze mappack zijn verder nog geen details bekend, maar volgens Robert Bowling heeft iedereen baat bij de mappack. Hij laat namelijk weten dat er voor elk wat wils in zit.
Als dank voor alle fans en gebruikers die Call of Duty 4 ondersteunen wil Infinity Ward het publiek nog een lange ondersteuning voor de game geven, zoals al eerder vermeld is. Infinity Ward doet een beetje geheimzinnig en laat weten dat ze een aantal leuke ideeën in de planning hebben, maar wat deze ideeën inhouden is echter nog niet bekend en Infinity Ward wil daar verder ook niets over vrijgeven.

Inderdaad hebben de PS3 en de Xbox 360 al extra maps gehad en de downloadable content.
Ik vond het overigens ook een leuk gebaar dat we zomaar crash_snow (Winter Crash) kregen afgelopen december. |

jullie hebben wintercrash gekregen + modtools zodat jullie oneindig veel maps kunnen krijgen..
