De onlangs uitgegeven Connectivity Patch voor de PS3- versie van Call of Duty 4: Modern Ward werkt goed. Momenteel spelen meer dan 100,000 gamers online tegelijk in de piekuren. Dat is een wereldwijd record voor de Playstation 3. De patch was bedoeld om de matchmaking, connectiviteit en het online netwerk van de PS3 te verbeteren. Infinity Ward is tevreden met het resultaat.

Sinds de uitgave van de patch is het mogelijk dat gamers problemen hebben met de Downloading Game Settings en Party reconnecting. Infinity Ward heeft aangegeven hier aan te werken.

Ik zit wireless op me ps3, en krijg nog regelmatig connection interupted. Lekker kut dus allemaal, ben ook echt niet te spreken over het online spelen van COD 4.
