Er komen de laatste tijd steeds meer mods uit: grote, geavanceerde mods, maar ook kleine mods die ook beslist de moeite waard zijn. Zo is er een creatief iemand die de Ion Cannon Mod maakte. Deze mod vervangt de Airstrike door een soort grote laserstraal, vergelijkbaar met de Laser Beam uit de Command and Conquer series. Het filmpje kun je hier bekijken. De Helicopter Support is nog niet vervangen en daarom is de mod nog in de betafase. Deze beta kun je hier downloaden.

De ion cannon is van Unreal Tournament, dus je moet hem niet vergelijken met de laser beam uit c&c.  |

Hallo er zijn redenen waarom Call of Duty 4 beter is dan Halo 3 en dit zal er wel een zijn want nu verkloot je de orginele game play van de Call of Duty games

Al die Mods zuigen.
Infinity Ward maakt een über game, en door al deze n44b mods en andere zooi wordt het spel echt verpest.
IW kan beter die 3 nieuwe " officiële " maps uitbrengen, + de Capture The Flag mode die ze niet haalden bij de launch.
Daarbij nog een paar vette wapens en misschien nog wel een paar nieuwe perks.
Kijk, dan ben ik gelukkig, en daar heb je wat aan, in plaats van al die gare mods.

Modding heeft ook positieve kanten hoor. Denk maar aan CoD2, door de modding heeft Call of Duy 4 veel nieuwe features zoals Sprinting, Grenate Cooking, Kill Streaks, Knifes....
Speciaal voor de creatieve mensen is er de modding. De echte leuke mods worden echt een succes, als deze mod niet leuk is komt deze van niet op alle servers.
Modding is lang zo slecht nog niet.
En ik verwacht zelf nog een volgende patch (ik denk eind maart) waarin nog één of meerdere maps zitten. |

Ik snap beide kanten van het verhaal over de mods wel.
aan de ene kant heb je heel veel mods wat niets is. zoals die canon beam.. t is geen sci fi shooter.
Maar ik maak regelmatig skins met andere camouflages ook voor wapens etc. Dat is ook een mod en ziet er meestal ook wel nice uit op zich.

| air strike heeft een grote bereik. Je ziet die lezer al aankomen. Plus wanneer je hem 1 mis kan je gelijk door lopen. Air strike is 3 x en beter bereik |
