Infinity Ward heeft de vijfde patch voor Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare uitgegeven. Deze patch bevat enkele fixes voor de ingame serverbrowser en lost ook enkele problemen op met de maprotatie bij het gebruik van custom maps. Je kunt patch 1.5 alleen installeren als je patch 1.4 al geïnstalleerd hebt. Download Patch 1.5 voor Call of Duty 4 hier. Daarnaast bevat de patch nog de volgende verbeteringen: - De "Hold [ ] to steady" sniperhint zal alleen verschijnen als je het kan gebruiken
- Maakt mod scripts mogelijk om stats te wijzigen
- De minimap van custom maps wordt nu correct getoond in het menu
- De Mod tools zullen nu correct werken met andere talen
Deze patch is zowel client- als serverside, dus je kunt na het installeren van de patch alleen servers met v1.5 joinen. Tevens is er ook een Linux versie van de patch verschenen. ik heb gehoord dat servers van 1.4 niet te benaderen zijn. dus alleen maar 1.5 servers.
Mijn vraag zijn er al genoeg servers gepatch naar 1.5 ?
anders blijf ik bij 1.4 even tot dat 1.5 meer servers krijgt |

hmm,

ik heb de update gedaan maar ik merk er helemaal niets van hij ziet nog steeds teveel servers. Ik zat zwaar te hopen op een soort friendslist ingame ofzo IEDEREEN roept het die clanbased speelt omdat nu iedereen steeds die domme ip adressen moet doorgeven. In plaats dat ze daar wat aan doen...en wat is er met dat hold steady?? nooit geen last van gehad zelf :s . En die modtool heb ik heel lang op zitten wachten maar zelfs met die wikipedia van infinity ward zelf snap ik er geen scheet van. en de helft werkte niet. dus ik heb de modtools lekker links laten liggen en ben bezig geweest met skinnen wat me erg goed af gaat ik heb nu zelfs skins van marines met mijn eigen gezicht erop.. De meeste nieuwe maps die uitkomen zien er toch niet uit tenzij ze rechtstreeks geript worden uit het spel zelf. zoals tjernobyl ofzo. Hopelijk komen er Officiele packs uit met nieuwe wapens. met famas, bullpop, G3a3 de Enfield L85AI wat nieuwe skins want die red of blue tiger camouflage zijn echt lelijk naja de rode valt nog wel mee maar die blauwe daar wil je nog niet dood mee gevonden worden..als je de redskin hebt voor de m40 sniper dan weet je wat ik bedoel. En ik zie nog veel liever mods die aimbots en wallhackers gewoon voor life bannen. dat vind ik veel vervelender dan een hold steady 2 aim. Dus volgende patch maar een friendslist, meer camouflages kunnen unlocken. hardcore server mogelijkheid geven nooblaunchers uit te zetten. Nog meer wapens kunnen unlocken eventueel gepaart aan nog meer levels die wel veel moeilijker te halen zijn. De uitdaging is gewoon weg als je al rank 55 bent bij dit spel ja je kan nog gouden guns unlocken.. een ak47..wel grappig maar gebruik ik haast nooit net als de draganov veel te hoge backfire dan is de m21 beter. de heavy machine guns gebruik ik ook haast nooit en de mini uzi ook niet.. Dus we unlocken skins voor wapens waar we toch niet mee spelen. dus de volgende keer maar een ECHTE patch ipv deze onzinnige rommel.

Geen problemen.. irritaties
Zij maken games..dat is hun beroep en na zo'n lange tijd is er nog geen patch geweest voor een friendslist. denk dat men daar eerder op zit te wachten dan op een een of ander patch voor een dom dingetje dat je nu alleen nog maar hold...to steady te zien krijgt indien het bruikbaar is.
Mijn broertje is 14 en gamed ook maar als hij met een vriendje van school wil spelen dan snapt hij niet hoe ze bij elkaar in de server kunnen komen zonder uitleg. Je moet nu eerst in een server gaan zitten dan moet je via msn , TS , of wat dan ook elkaar t ip adres doorsturen die ander moet bij favorites dan dat ip invullen etc.. dikke omweg. En lijkt mij dat zulke lui van IW dat toch makkelijk moeten kunnen fixen? Er gingen geruchten dat dat nu bij de patch in zou zitten..niet dus en als je kijkt wat die 1.5 patch nu echt doet..weinig toegevoegde waarde. |

| Als het goed is heb je gewoon al je servers nog wel in je fav. map lijst staan maar het kan zijn dat deze servers nog niet geupdate zijn vandaar dat je die niet kan joinen..zodra ze geupdate zijn kan je zonder problemen weer in je fav. servers komen. |

mwah ik heb zelf GSC en TS. Xfire heb ik in t verleden altijd gezeik mee gehad..dat zodra je een update niet gedaan had dat t niet meer werkte etc. Maar vind gewoon dat t ingame moet kunnen zoals bij battlefield etc. zonder andere programmas op te starten gewoon ingame zien wie er online zijn en kunnen joinen. Verder zou t ook leuk zijn als je classes kan aanpassen als je dood bent ofzo bij sabotage kan je soms wel 2 minuten wachten als je pech hebt.. als je dan je set samen kan stellen zou wel nice zijn.
Ik heb veel liever zulke patches dan dat wat ze bij deze patch gedaan hebben.. |

| hoi erwin ,je klinkt alsof je er nogalwat verstand van hebt,maar als je al langer cod speelt,weet je dat je x-fire gebruikt,om met elkaar te spelen.Daar kan je precies zien wie wat en waar iemand in welke server,en met hoeveel personen er wordt gespeeld. Dus bij deze voor je broertje download x-fire. |

Ik heb geen xfire maar gsc zelfde principe.
Maar elke keer als je iemand wil joinen moet je uit de game gaan en opnieuw op iemand joinen dit moet gewoon allemaal ingame gebeuren.
Wat me weer bij het volgende brengt ik kan geen LAN server aanmaken. dan krijg ik een console venster met wat errors en als ik hem wegklik gebeurd er nix. Ik heb geen router of wat dan ook. Of moet je speciaal weer een completer server opzetten op een andere pc etc en blabla Ik verwacht als ik zeg server opzetten en dan LAN kies dat ie gewoon een server kan opzetten.
Ik gebruik Hamachi om samen met een vriend te gamen.
Via Hamachi kunnen we elkaar pingen en chatten dus we zijn wel verbonden via hamachi (virtuele lan) maar ik kan dus geen LAN aanmaken ik kan wel gewoon local kiezen en dan kan de ander wel de server zien staan en ziet hoeveel personen in zitten etc maar als hij wil joinen krijgt hij een server timed out ofzo. Ik heb geen zin om zelf nog een hele server op te zetten maar gewoon ff via LAN leek me wel leuk maar dit werkt dus niet... iemand ideeen? |

Beste Erwin,
De console moet je niet wegklikken, dat ís de server. Zodra je de console hebt runnen, moet je even een nieuwe CoD4 sessie starten en het LAN IP joinen. Als alles klopt, kom je dan in de server.
Die console verschijnt omdat Dedicated op LAN staat. |

Overigens vind ik Xfire ook en aanrader, ik heb er nog nooit problemen mee gehad.
In ieder geval geen gezeik ingame en je kunt heel gemakkelijk favorieten toevoegen etc. |
