Infinity Ward, de ontwikkelaar van Call of Duty 4, heeft aangegeven “overdonderd” te zijn door het aantal mensen dat illegale games gebruikt. Veel mensen die wel in het bezit zijn van een originele keycode, zijn hiervan de dupe geworden. Een woordvoerder van Infinity Ward vermeldde dit op het FourZeroTwo-weblog en verklaarde dat dit aan het licht kwam toen gekeken werd naar de statistieken van het aantal spelers dat op dat moment actief was in de multiplayer. Mensen die het slachtoffer zijn geworden van deze piraterij, worden geadviseerd om met hun game terug te gaan naar de winkel. |

als je dit hebt ff mailtje sture aan infinity ward, zulle ze wel vrage om een foto te make van je hoesje/handleiding waar de cd-key op staat ff je ip vermelden in het mailtje, eenmaal mailtje ontvangen en ze geloven je krijgt iedereen die met die cd key online probeert te gaan een pb ban, en kan jij weer happily ever after cod4 spele |

| ok maar ik heb soms het gevoel dat ik ook genaait ben ik weet niet hoe en door wie maar ik kan mijn cod4 brwoser neit gebruiken omdate ik zogenaamd een ping heb van min700 en hoger waardoor ik van de 11k servers er maar 4 zie en wanner ik dan wil connecten dan kom ik door mijn zogenaamde ping neit door key code authorizatiion, dit heb ik sinds patch 1.4 en ik ben neit de enigste die het heeft. hij heeft het deze week wel effe gedaan maar daarna weer niet . als iemand mij kan helpen alvast bedankt |

Dat werkt ook niet echt want wow kun je ook illegaal spelen, maar daar hebben we het nu niet over. Ik heb gewoon het respect voor infinity ward en hem gekocht. en voor wie zit te twijfelen gewoon kopen als je nog een call of duty 5 wil! |

Ik weet wel dat er talloze cracked servers zijn.
Maar of mensen er gedupeert van raken betwijfel ik
omdat een cracked server de eigenschap heeft om geen
CD-Key check te doen.
BTW.
Op dergelijk soort servers is je game plezier in hoogstens
2 dagen bedorven omdat bunkbuster zijn werk ook niet goed kan doen en cheaters en Wallhackers daardoor vrij spel hebben. |
