Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare is flink in de prijzen gevallen bij diverse verkiezingen van gamesites. De nieuwe game van Infinity Ward mocht in totaal zestien awards in ontvangst nemen. GameSpy.com, TeamXbox.com en IGN.com vonden de game op diverse platformen het beste spel van het jaar.
Bij de verkiezing van IGN.com won Call of Duty 4 de awards voor 'PS3: Best First-Person Shooter', PS3: Best Use of Sound', PS3: Best Online Multiplayer' en 'Xbox360: Best First-Person Shooter'. TeamXbox.com betitelde de game met 'Best Shooter of the Year', 'Best Graphics of the Year' en vond Infinity Ward de beste ontwikkelaar van het jaar. De meeste awards werden uitgereikt door GameSpy.com. Zo won Call of Duty 4 daar onder meer de award voor 'PC Game of the Year', 'Xbox360 game of the Year' en 'PS3 game of the Year.' |
