Zoals jullie al een paar dagen geleden konden lezen, ging het gerucht dat Call of Duty: Zombies, die tot nu toe alleen bespeelbaar was op een iOS-apparaat, ook naar Android-apparaten zou komen. En niets is minder waar!

Dit zijn we te weten gekomen door een mailtje van Santa Monica. Call of Duty: Zombies zal de maps Kino Der Toten, Ascension en Call of the Dead: Director's Cut bevatten. Maar hier blijft het niet bij. Call of Duty: Zombies zal ook de zogenoemde 'Dead-Ops Arcade' bevatten. Deze bestaat uit 50 niveaus en is bedoeld voor de ultieme zombie-fan. Je kunt dit alleen spelen, of deelnemen aan een team van 4 spelers via Wi-Fi terwijl je hordes zombies omlegt met verschillende wapens en perks.

Call of Duty: Zombies is exclusief voor 30 dagen beschikbaar op Android voor Sony Xperia Smart Phones evenals Sony's Xperia Play Optimized-apparaten, waaronder de Xperia Play, de Xperia S en de Xperia Ion. Greg Canessa, Vice President of Mobile Development, had hierover het volgende te zeggen:
