Vorige week kregen we het bericht dat de vertraagde PC-versie van Call of Duty: Elite het resultaat was van de moeilijke ontwikkelomgeving op het platform. Vandaag blijkt echter dat Beachhead misschien wel helemaal geen zin heeft om zich in het platform te verdiepen. "We are working towards a universal Elite experience but we cannot guarantee if or when a version will be available for the PC,"
Elite geeft hiermee aan dat er dus duidelijk nog geen sprake is van een versie voor de PC. In een reactie op de pers geeft Beachhead aan dat als er een PC-versie komt alleen de gratis versie van Elite beschikbaar zal worden. Voordat je gaat juichen dat de PC-versie totaal gratis is: dit is niet het geval. De PC-versie bevat gewoon geen Premium functies.

Dat elite voor de pc is uitgesteld is een ding, dat het er misschien nooit aan zit te komen vind ik wel erg ver gaan!
Het wordt steeds duidelijker dat cod een consolegame is geworden...

Yay... Laat dat vooral maar zitten. Elite is totaal niet interessant en zal alleen maar verwarrende extra snufjes bevatten waarvan de functie toch al beschikbaar is met Steam. Met vrienden in contact blijven? Daar heb je Steam voor. Je statistieken vergelijken? Daar zijn de leaderboards voor. Met elkaar in een clan? Steam Groups. Elkaars server joinen? Steam. Je performance verbeteren? Kijk maar YouTube filmpjes. Er is echt niet zoveel boeiends dat Elite met zich meebrengt. Voor mij is het goed zo.
Mijn mening. Niet zeuren als het voor u niet geldt. |

Het is wel duidelijk... Kan me een tweet van Robert Bowling, aka FourZeroTwo dat ze de PC community als een van de belangrijkste zagen en die ditmaal maximaal zouden ondersteunen. Pff, right. Zijn allemaal leugens wat ze vertellen.
