Op Metacritics.com is de afgelopen twee dagen veel ophef geweest. Dit kwam door de lage user score die een aantal Battlefield 3-fanboys hebben geplaatst. Daardoor kwam het gemiddelde cijfer voor Modern Warfare 3 uit op een 2.6. Als je als developer aan een game hebt gewerkt is het natuurlijk heel jammer als zoiets gebeurd, zeker als het commentaar niet goed onderbouwd is en het dus pure haat is tegen Modern Warfare 3 waarom er zo'n laag cijfer gegeven wordt. Glen Schofield twitterde vandaag echter wat interessants over hulp die hij nodig heeft: "I don't usually do this but, if u like MW3 go 2 Metacritic.com & help our user score, It's suspiciously low. Be honest but help if u agree."
De tweet is ondertussen alweer verwijderd. Glen Schofield geeft hier aan dat hij het "verdacht laag" vindt en of andere users dus wat hoger willen stemmen. Ga jij dat even doen of niet? |

Zucht moet er nu een eeuwige discussie komen tussen BF3 en call of duty?
Tot vorige week had ik enkel COD gespeeld, vorige week had ik BF3 gekocht en om eerlijk te zijn vond/vind ik dit een super spel! Puur omdat je daar echt als een team moet werken en dat gebeurt helaas niet in COD.....
Elk spel heeft gewoon zijn kwaliteiten maar ga gewoon allemaal niet zitten te zeiken |

Geef de schuld maar weer aan de "fanboys". Waarom had MW2 ook alweer zo'n laag cijfer.. Oja! Geen dedicated servers maar lekker P2P.
En deze DLC heeft daar niets aan veranderd, behalve dat ze hadden beloofd om er dedi's in te doen. Maar achteraf was dat alleen bedoeld voor unranked en oh! Dan weten we ook nog niet eens zeker of er wel modtools kwamen :O... Kortom MW3 heeft de PC gamers WEER bedrogen. Naja dan verdienen ze dit ook  .
Mn uTorrent is MW3 nu lekker aan het binnenhalen (hoe langzaam dat ook mag gaan). Even SP spelen en dan weer door met mijn vele andere spellen in mijn collectie  . |

Ik heb deze site altijd graag gelezen, maar zo een artikel dat direct vingers gaat wijzen is gewoon triest.
Feit is dat Metacritic vaker gebruikt wordt door pc gamers dan door console gamers. En het feit is dat de ervaring op de console velen malen beter is dan de computer.
Ik me vraag me dan toch echt af vanaf welke bron vermeld word dat elke ''down-voter'' op Metacritic zo BF3 fanboy is.
Maarja misschien heb ik het fout en is de auteur van dit artikel wel dikke maatjes met de redacteur van Metacritic.com

Het overgrote deel van de gasten waarmee ik zowel Call of Duty 4, MW2 en BO heb gespeeld kotsen op MW3 en zijn allemaal BF3 gaan spelen. Misschien moet meneer Schofield gewoon accepteren dat mensen door zijn 'nieuwe game' hebben heen geprikt? |
