Is je computer in staat om Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare goed af te spelen? Een vraag die menig gamer zichzelf zal afvragen. De website System Requirements Lab kan hier antwoord opgegeven. Door middel van een scan door jouw computer, kan de site berekenen of je Call of Duty 4 (goed) kan afspelen. Klik hier om de pagina van de test te openen. Klik vervolgens in het menu Call of Duty 4 aan.
Aan het eind van de test wordt duidelijk of je computer Call of Duty 4 goed kan afspelen. Zo worden de 'zwakke punten' van je computer aangewezen en worden de laatste drivers - waar nodig - je toegewezen. Het eindoordeel bestaat uit twee delen: de minimale systeemeisen en optimale systeemeisen. Eerder maakte Infinity Ward al de systeemeisen bekend. |

| loopt de demo op direct x 9 of 10? en hoe weet je dat die op die direct x draait? want een maat van mij denkt dat die 't op direct x 10 draait, maar sommige hier zeggen dat je 'm op 9 draait. hij heeft nu zo'n 45+ fps, dus zei die: als ik 'm nu op direct x 9 draai, dan betekend 't dus dat ik een slechte computer heb, wil ik 'm goed op 10 kunnen draaien. kunnen jullie even uitleggen hoe jullie hieraan komen? |

Je moet je Direct X updaten dat kan via de installatie of kijk in je Docs daar vind je een link naar de site van Microsoft (DirectX Runtime ofzoiets).

@ max, als je reso goed wilt veranderen moet je naar Cod4 demo map gaan, dan profiles, dan je profiel en dan open je config.cgf met kladblok, zoek je 'seta r_mode' en typ verander je de resolutie.
Ikzelf kwam goed door de vermelde test, maar ik kan niet echt zeggen dat ik hem super soepel kan spelen. Ik heb de graphics zowat op het laagste staan, resolutie op 720x576 en heb nog maar een fps van 20 op drukke plaatsen. Nu moet ik wel zeggen dat ik hem ga kopen voor de multiplayer, waar je fps veel hoger is (zal rond de 70 / 80 zijn). Het is niet zo druk, minder licht/rook/vuur effecten, minder mensen, minder dust enz.
Verder erg goed spel! Alleen begint de map te vervelen na 3x uitgespeeld te hebben xD. |

Nee dat is het niet, ik heb hem 2 keer op yahoo (een keer toen het zo druk was en een keer gister middag, gister was het 1.37GB en toen ik gisteravond ging kijken (op een andere site), stond er weer 1,37GB, daarom had ik hem toen ook niet gedownload.
En een 2e vraag, als ik nu dus de demo niet kan instaleren, kan ik dan waarschijnlijk wel het hele spel instaleren????? |

je fps is niet meer zo als bij cod2 , als je een fps van 60 heb dat je niet kan spelen . op cod4 gaat dat wel |

Lijkt erop dat die site Dual Cores nog niet goed kan beoordelen, Ik heb een E6750 2.66Ghz en sta net 1 streepje boven het minimum.

Hij werkt ... maar ATI drivers zijn bagger (crossfire stuk)voor de game atm.
het ligt niet aan me hardware (2900XT 2x, crossfire 4gb ram E6750 @ 3.4 ghz, watercooled) maar het is echt een software issue atm. Ook op nividia kaarten hoor ik om me heen dat de fps rond de 35 is, voor de graphics die je er voor krijgt vind ik dat ze weer slecht bezig zijn.
Deze game word een Consolefanboygame ais ze niet snel van Nvidia en Ati, maar ook vooral zeker van de Cod4 makers hun kant game optimazations doorvoeren en compatability issues verhelpen. Neem als voorbeeld Unreal 3 demo, VETTE GRAPHICS!! en met een single 8800 gts of 2900 haal je bij de max resolutie + graphics settings de fps cap van 60 fps met gemak! Neem hier een voorbeeld aan COD 4! |

Ik heb een demo van CoD4 gedownload en gespeeld, maar deze speelt voor geen meter, maakt niet uit wat voor resolutie enzo ik instel (hoewel kwaliteit wel mooi is bij 1680x1050), hij hapert of gaat in matrix-stijl.
Volgens de hierboven aangegeven site (system req lab) moet mijn pc CoD4 makkelijk aankunnen, maar ik twijfel nu behoorlijk.
Kan het zijn dat het aan de demo zelf ligt?
Dingen als menu enzo zien er wel goed uit, en het spel op zich ook, alleen zodra je gaat bewegen gaat t fout ;p
