Voor diegenen die Call of Duty: Black Ops nog stééds niet hebben gespeeld is Activision nu op het briljante idee gekomen om een demo uit te geven op Xbox Live. Ja, jullie zijn niet de enigen die hier niets van snappen... Waarom Activision nú nog een demo heeft uitgegeven weten wij niet. Wat wij wél weten is dat de grootte van de demo 916MB is en dat deze alleen op Xbox Live is uitgegeven. Ook is bekend dat de demo delen van de bergmissie in Ural bevat: "Highlights of the mission include reconnaissance in a supersonic Spy Plane, mountain top rappelling and base-jumping, and fighting enemies in stealth mode as well as full firefight mode."
Dus voor de 'echte Call of Duty fans' die nog steeds niet hebben beslist of ze Call of Duty: Black Ops wel of niet gaan kopen is er nu een demo...!

Dit had je kunnen weten, contracten tussen Microsoft (xbox gedeelte) en activision. Dit doen andere uitgevers ook bij andere spellen.
Super reclame als 1 van de top spellen alleen op de Xbox VIP rechten heeft. Ps3 heeft dit weer met andere spellen enz.
ik zou het geen voortrekken noemen maar slimme marketing.

Nu weet ik dat er mensen foutje kinderen gaan zeuren over mijn woordkeuze in dit geval Top spellen. Je kan hoog of laag springen Call of Duty is een top titel in de game wereld. Ik heb het niet over mw2 of black ops (blops) specifiek maar over het algemeen. |

Xbox wordt niet voorgetrokken. MS heeft er gewoon voor betaald dus dus niks voortrekken
Dit was ook al zo met MW2. Kon je nog eens leuk met Soap door die vliegveld basis wandelen in de sneeuw met je HB sensor.

Waarom zouden ze een demo uitbrengen terwel men al 100% van overtuigd is dat de game een verkoopsrecord zou breken? Uit het oogpunt van de publisher is dit een hele goede stap. Op deze manier kan men de kleine minderheid nog overhalen om het spel te spelen (of ja, demo beter gezegd) en mogelijks het spel te doen kopen.
Wat een stelletje idioten hier... en mensen zijn er zo te zien nog steeds niet achter dat het PC platform Activision totaal niet boeit. We zullen sowieso moeten betalen voor First Strike en dergelijke mappacks. Mij niet gezien, Black Ops ligt (zelfs sneller dan MW2) toch stof te verzamelen. Ik hou me bezig met betere games op dit moment en kijk uit naar franchises die de PC community toch meer beloven op het moment. |
