Iedereen die de singleplayer van Modern Warfare 2 heeft gespeeld zal het nog wel weten, het verhaal kende nogal wat plotwendingen waardoor het soms een beetje vaag werd. Josh Olin vertelt dat het verhaal van Call of Duty: Black Ops veel duidelijker wordt en hij vertelt ook waarom dat van Modern Warfare 2 zo slecht samenhing: “I'm on the development side of things, so [...] my opinion of it is that it seems like they cut a little too much. You know, maybe they had some levels that just weren't quite finished, so they had to cut them, or something. Maybe their cutscenes didn't have enough explanation or setup.” Naast dat hij vertelt waarom het verhaal Modern Warfare 2 niet geweldig was, vertelt hij ook waarom het verhaal van Call of Duty: Black Ops wel super gaat worden: "We walk that fine line between 'complex' and 'confusing'. Waarom koop je dan MW2 in plaats van eerst MW1 te kopen.
Verder vond ik het niet zo moeilijk te volgen, vond het eigenlijk wel geinig om een spel zo te spelen, en je leert snel genoeg dat ene Zakhaev een zootje van Rusland heeft gemaakt, verder wordt alleen Al-Asahd achterwege gelaten in MW2, dus als je ook in Afghanistan en omstreken wilt vechten in SP, koop dan eerst MW1 voordat je MW2 koopt |

Ik weet dat het je mening is maar voor singleplayer de wapens leren?? Of je nou singleplayer speelt of Multiplayer wapens blijven wapens en ze zijn precies het zelfde in allebij de versies. Maar ik snap wel ongeveer wat je bedoeld sommige wapens gebruik je speciaal in een missie maar voor multiplayer ken ik de wapens bij naam en nummer en weet wat ze doen.
Het is niet dat ik voor black ops Singleplayer ga spelen voor de kruisboog. Maar ik snap je mening wel.
En de verhaal lijn in MW2. Ik moet eerlijk zeggen dat ik niet verder ben dan missie 5 ofzo de singleplayer boeit me nooit zo. Meestal speel ik die als ik geen internet heb (als het plotseling is uitgevallen) of echt nergens zin in heb.
