In de Power Unlimited (nummer 9, juli) wordt nog eens kort de twee grootste wo2-shooters naast elkaar gelegt. Daarin worden ook korte feitjes weergeven van de aankomende Call of Duty 3. Het spel wordt dan weliswaar weer on-rail, maar volgens de PU wel de mooiste die je ooit hebt gezien .

Heeft Call of Duty 3 leentjebuur gespeeld bij Brothers in Arms, of was het nu juist andersom? Hoe dan ook, beide WO 2 shooters kennen allebei:
a: meer emotie dan ooit
b: bizar vette graphics die voorheen alleen in tussenfilmpjes te zien waren
c: filmische momenten die je opslokken in de game.
Ontploft in BiA een winkel en word je door je manschappen overeind geholpen, in CoD 3 ontploft een vrachtwagen midden in je konvooi en word je - eveneens met kantelende camera - door je teammaten overeind geholpen.
Toch is de gameplay behoorlijk verschillend. Call of Duty 3 wordt dan een schiettent on-rails maar dan wel de mooiste die je ooit hebt gezien. Stofwolken, puinhopen, lijken, gillende manschappen, bloed, kots, zweet en tranen en dat allemaal zonder laadtijden. Meer van hetzelfde, alleen kan nu echt alles kapot, en bovendien wordt het geheel magnifiek en meeslepend tot leven gebracht. PC gamers geen paniek: een aparte PC game komt zeer waarschijnlijk later maar wordt gedaan door Treyarch zelf. |

| Ik heb stiekeme hoop dat BiA:HH het meest gave WO2 spel wordt dat is gemaakt. Het speelt in Nederland, het is een combinatie van shooter en tactical, geweldige graphics, zeer waarheidsgetrouw. Daar zitten een aantal aspecten bij die de CoD reeks toch echt mist. Ik vond de eerste BiA echt een geweldig gaaf spel, erg authentiek en het is eigenlijk een shooter+. Je kunt namelijk meer dan alleen schieten en in tegenstelling tot CoD is BiA (vrijwel) niet uit te spelen zonder je squads. Vond het echt een verademing, alleen grafisch niet sterk. Maar met HH moet daar een einde aan komen! |

| Ik moet eerst een fatsoenlijke pc hebben of beide games te kunnen spelen. Ik kan niet eens CoD2 spelen.
Ik zit eigelijk te wachten op Medal of Honor Airborne, laat misschien minder zien dat CoD3 of BiAHH maar maakt mij geen ruk uit. |

| @Moody: Vooral toen ik 12 jaar was en op mijn eigen computer internet kreeg (online gamen deed ik al sinds dat ik 9 jaar was blijkbaar, maar ik herinner mij dat niet ) was ik vooral zo n type gozer die alleen maar WW2-games wil en de rest boeide mij niet meer.
Maar ja, ik was verkocht toen ik Operation Flashpoint, Half-Life, FarCry en Vietcong speelde... |
