Verschillende aspecten hebben er voor gezorgd dat Modern Warfare 2 niet meer de engel is die het was. Activision heeft er echter lak aan, het geld is binnen. Wat maakt Activision de community uit? De uitgever zal zich alleen druk maken om de aanklacht van West en Zampella, dat kan bakken vol met geld gaan kosten. Voor Treyarch is het absoluut geen onmogelijke klus, na het tegenvallende Modern Warfare 2. Battlefield: Bad Company 2 zou Modern Warfare 2 gaan verslaan, tot op heden is naar nog niet veel van terecht gekomen. De volgende die Modern Warfare 2 moet gaan verslaan is Crysis 2. De grote baas van Crytek, ontwikkelaar van Crysis 2 heeft ook nog even zijn kritiek geuit over Modern Warfare 2. Volgens Morgen was Modern Warfare 2 een grote aanfluiting voor de Call of Duty-franchise. 'Ze hebben te weinig terug gekeken naar Call of Duty 4'. Het verhaal was een verhaal van aan elkaar geplakte stukken, die helemaal niet goed samenvielen, het was absoluut geen geheel en om nog maar over de gameplay te zwijgen. Als we de kritiek van deze man moeten geloven, wordt Crysis 2 dus een monsterlijke game. Het gaat een goed verhaal bevatten en de gameplay wordt goed, nou wat wil je nog meer? Het is wel opmerkelijk dat Crytek een aparte studio heeft opgericht voor de mutliplayer van de game, namelijk Crytek UK. Ook zal Crysis 2 gaan draaien op de vernieuwde CryEngine 3, een engine die erg veel vraagt van je Pc'tje. |

Dit is Free Radical, van Haze. Oftewel, die zijn gebruikt om een PS3-versie van Crysis 2 te helpen ontwikkelen, multiplayer heeft daar verder weinig mee te maken.
Als kenner vraag ik me eerder af wat er met Crytek: Black Sea is gebeurd, bekend van o.a. Knights of Honour en in 2008 overgenomen door Crytek. |

| Gozers, praat niet zomaar als je niks over de CryEngine 3 weet. Check youtube maar voor filmpjes van de CryEngine 3 en je gaat versteld staan. Zelf heb ik Crysis Warhead, die is al best oud, maar veel mooier en gedetailleerder dan MW2. |

heuu crysis, prachtige game, gameplay om te janken.
Test, jij speelt alleen voor de graphics en bovendien loop jij graag 6 uren rond in een map van 100 hectare omvervolgens na 6 uur iemand tegen te komen. Indrukwekkend. Crysis zag er leuk uit, echter 2 jaar later kunnen pc's het spel pas fatsoenlyk draaien, ze zijn alleen maar gericht op graphics ipv de gameplay. De graphics zijn de eerste 2 uren leuk, daarna moet de gameplay winnen waar dit niet het geval is bij crysis 1 en warhead.
Overigens is elk spel beter dan mw 2! Bovendien vermaak ik me prima met bad company 2 dat 10 keer beter is dan mw2 naar mijn mening.

Dat had betrekking tot de PC versie en dan kun je dus wel degelijk zeggen dat het gelukt is. Al het geheibel rondom de release hadden namelijk te maken met de dedicated servers, etc en toen zeiden ze dat het beter zou zijn dan MW2. Kortom m.b.t. de PC versie.
Anyway Crisis2 ga ik toch niet kopen, het is niet mijn soort game  . |

Crysis = epic ownage
de multiplayer is goed maar er is veel lag omdat er (vind ik) weinig europese servers zijn en in crysis is de NUKE in multiplayer gewoon heel normaal hoor xD
btw ze hebben aparte afdelingen 1 voor graphics en 1 voor multiplayer only.
graphic's zijn top en multiplayer is top (weet nog niet van C2) samen is dat gewoon de MW2 beater op de PC
PS. Het leukste is dat dit keer de PC versie voor gaat > warschijnlijk wordt er nu dus een port gemaakt van pc naar consoles waar ze dan het lobby systeem weghalen yay |

| Toch zal Crysis nooit zo goed worden als welke cod dan ook. Crysis is echt zo'n spel dat over 2 maanden de helft goedkoper is en waar niemand dan meer naar op of om kijkt. Cod's blijven altijd boeiend, daarom dalen ze ook zo sloom in waarde. |

Denk je nou werkelijk dat de consoles even hoge instellingen krijgen als de PC versie? De leads hebben al meerdere keren aangekondigd dat de consoles lagere graphics krijgen zodat ze ongeveer 30 frames stabiel kunnen renderen per seconde. |

De graphics van de cryengine 3 zijn echt om je weg te blazen! Maar jammer genoeg zijn de specifieke specs nog niet bekend.

Cod4 had betere maps, als ze deze allemaal re-doen zou mw2 een topgame zijn, en dan allemaal re-doen voor de kosten van 8 euri ofzo.... maareh, NEE crysis overtreft mw2 niet, er is niet zoveel vraag naar CoD is bekend waardoor het zoveel aanhang krijgt, let maar op, zeiden ze bij bc2 ook (overigens een top spel) |

Knap dat Crysis speelbaar is op de xbox, aangezien het nooit is gereleased voor de xbox. In tegenstelling tot Crysis 2, die wel voor de xbox gaat komen.
Verder zal je voor Crysis 2 wel weer een supercomputer van NASA nodig hebben om het op een beetje normale graphics te kunnen spelen. Crysis 2 zal zeker in de buurt komen van MW2, het verhaal zal (denk ik) in ieder geval beter zijn dan dat van MW2 (leuk, filmpjes kijken).
Vergelijk maar eens bij Metacritic de User Score van MW2 (3.4) met die van Crysis deeltje 1, die een 7.7 krijgt.
Er zal dus zeker een kans zijn dat deze game MW2 voorbij zal gaan. |

Crysis (en hiermee bedoel ik de gehele Crysis franchise/Crytek engine) is een prachtige game. En ja, er staat prachtig. Het gaat enkel om de fraaie beelden die de engine op je scherm weet te toveren (immers een krachtige PC). Verder is de gameplay zelf nogal zwakjes om maar te zwijgen over het verhaal.
Het zijn tevens twee totaal verschillende games. |
