| Volgende Call of Duty wél dedicated servers? |

Al een week zwerven geruchten rond op het internet dat de volgende Call of Duty (van Treyarch) Black Ops als titel zou voeren, en andere kleine details als het wederom toevoegen van een zombiemodus. Website CVG heeft uit nieuwe bronnen opgemaakt dat Treyarch's titel wél dedicated servers zal hebben, logisch ook na de blamage van het luie en leugenachtige Infinity Ward. Enerzijds kan het zo zijn dat Activision zich realiseert dat de concurrentie (Bad Company 2, Medal of Honor) dit jaar heel sterk is, maar het kan ook zo zijn dat het voor PC-gamers vriendelijke Treyarch en de community manager annex PC-gamer JD_2020 weten waar de kwaliteit ligt. Wie zal het zeggen? Binnenkort zullen we het horen. Hopelijk zal de modding scene ook weer volle kans krijgen, iets wat bij Bad Company 2 helaas niet zo is.
Een beetje discussie over wat jij wel in niet in de komende Call of Duty game wil, dat kan allemaal op het forum van i3D, namelijk hier, hier, of hier. |

| Ik hoop dat het waar is maar ik juich niet te vroeg. De gameplay van WaW op de PC is goed, maar voor mij mistte het iets het voelde niet helemaal goed aan. Maarja het was wel Treyarch's eerste PC game (Ik tell UO niet mee, want dat was een expansion en dus waren de animaties en gameplay elementen voor het grootste gedeelte al klaar). De support van WaW was geweldig dus ik verwacht best wel wat van dit deel. |

Nee ik had het ook. Dan moeten ze deze keer de PC controls afstemmen voordat ze het vrijgeven, want dat hebben ze bij WaW waarscheinlijk met een controlller gedaan. (Te minste zo voelde het bij mij. TIP: speel nog eens een beetje met de mouse sensivity, het kan helpen ) |

eigenlijk is het best wel treurig, voordat mw2 was uitgegeven was er alleen maar kritiek op de games van treyarch, maar nu mw2 zo slecht is, is treyarch opeens de betere studio en kan infinity ward opzouten...

| zeer zeker mooi die Dedicated Servers, maar bij BF BC 2 hebben ze ook een soort van Dedicated servers op de consoles. Doen ze dat dan bij de nieuwe aanstaande call of duty ook of is dat nog niet bekend voor de rest? Ik weet waarom pc-gaming zo leuk is, door die mod tools en dedicated servers, maar als je een console hebt en je koopt gewoon een FRAGnStein dan heb je toch ook een soort van PC-gameplay op de console ? |

| Servers die je zelf kan hosten via je eigen pc of door een bedrijf hierin kan je zelf alles bepalen gamemode, maprotation, noem het maar op ook kun je hier vaak mods op laten draaien. Nog een voordeel is dat de connectie vaak beter is waardoor je weer minder lag hebt. |

haha voor mij maakt het niet zo veel uit ik heb een goede pc met goede vid kaart daar speel ik cod 2 en cod4 op en af en toe cod1 en op me ps3 mw2 dus mij maakt het niet uit en als het een goede game word waar dedi's in komen koop ik het voor pc voor cw en als het helemaal gewelidig is ook op ps3 alhoewel ik pc fijner vind spelen. |

Ik speel deeltje 1 en 2 (ook UO) op m'n PC uit 1857, en al wat ie niet aankan, koop ik voor m'n PS3. Dus voor mij maakt het niet zoveel uit als er geen dedicated servers zijn voor PC, maar ik krijg in ieder geval een ander beeld van de ontwikkelaar, en voel mee met de échte (helaas ben ik er zelf geen) PC gamers... Moest ik een goede PC kunnen betalen (ja, zo'n rijke ouders heb ik nou ook weer niet) zou ik er direct een kopen, maar ja... Deze vakantie misschien een vakantiejob, dus dan maar hopen
Overigens heb ik nergens in dit topic Fanboy gedrag gezien, enkel een paar flames, voornamelijk gericht aan IW. Dus fanboy gedrag is bullshit, en we verwachten niet van onze Hoofdredacteur dat hij een consolewar zal starten of probeert om te trollen... Er is een verschil tussen je mening uiten zonder te overdrijven en iemand afbreken omdat hij/zij volgens jou op het verkeerde platform speelt. |

Ik weet niet waar je dit op baseert, maar dit slaat nergens op. Ik ben nog niks tegengekomen op deze site waarmee ik het niet mee eens ben, of wat ik vervelend vond om te lezen.

In het stuk hierboven lees ik bijv. "~van het luie en leugenachtige Infinity Ward~".
Ik ben hier de baas niet en iedereen heeft het recht om te zeggen wat hij of zij vindt, maar professioneel oogt het i.i.g. niet.
Als ik de auteur was zou ik de opmerking van Laurens ter harte nemen en in het vervolg wat objectiever schrijven. |
