Robert Bowling van Infinity Ward (ja, hij mocht wel blijven..) heeft in een interview gezegd dat de aankomende 'Stimulus' map pack zeker het geld waard is, het zou wat zijn als hij had gezegd dat het niet zo was.

''There's definitely no doubt in my mind that these maps packs and the five maps are definitely worth the investment. Anybody who buys them and then plays Modern Warfare 2 online is going to get their money's worth out of these maps. I mean, [we're offering] five new locations to Modern Warfare 2, three of those brand new to the series and each of them offers their own unique kind of gameplay so no matter what kind of play style you are you're going to get something out of these maps.''

Volgens Bowling zit er dus voor iedereen wat bij, voor elke 'style' van spelen zit er een map bij! De 'Stimulus' map pack komt op 30 maart naar de Xbox 360 en zal 1200 MS points gaan kosten, wat neerkomt op ongeveer 10 eurotjes.

Robert Bowling zei ook dat de release van de map pack gepaard ging met een kleine fix voor het matchmaking systeem.

We'll be patching [MW2] prior to DLC that will include the same matchmaking update for 360 that PS3 got, along with other updates.
