Wie de dramatische PC-port van Modern Warfare 2 nog niet in huis heeft, maar deze toch eens wil proberen, heeft vandaag geluk: op de site Gameoffer, waar elke dag een aanbieding op staat, is Modern Warfare 2 vandaag voor 35 euries beschikbaar. We weten niet of de PC-versie überhaupt geld waard is, maar misschien komt het sommigen goed uit. Update: Inmiddels allang voorbij.

| Ik heb nog nooit met dedi's gespeeld, dus ik weet gelukkig niet wat ik mis. Voor de rest, ik haat die wallhackers, maar voor de rest vind ik het nog gewoon een goeie game hoor, alleen is die matchmaking system crap. |

De game opzich is ook zo krom als het maar zijn kan. One Man Army (Pro) slaat gewoon nergens op gezien het (vooral in combinatie met Danger Close (Pro) alles vernietigd.
Hardcore met AC130/Chopper Gunner is ook ondoenbaar. Je brengt altijd teammates om omdat je ze NIET kunt zien. In de singleplayer hebben je kameraden 'strobes' op hun schouders hangen en het bleek zo te zien iets te veel moeite te zijn geweest om deze ook online te implementeren.
Dan had men de 'vierkantjes' die rond vijanden staan ook kunnen verwijderen om het te 'balanceren'.
Tevens: waarom geen perk wat men in staat stelt extra equipment te dragen en daarenboven 2 soorten equipment. Ik denk aan combinaties zoals 'spawnen' met: 2x Frag Grenades & 2x Throwing Knives/ 2x Throwing Knives & 2x Semtex'/... Klinkt stom maar gezien ze nu eindelijk een degelijk mechanisme hebben ingevoerd voor het gooien van granaten zou dit moeten kunnen. En je hebt er 'maar' twee, bij Scavenger kun je in feite 'ongelimiteerd' granaten gooien.
En dit spel heeft meerdere van deze kromme toestanden. Geen terugslag (recoil) voor UMP/ACR/M4/... Akimbo Glock 21's die te accuraat zijn, te snel vuren. Veel van de andere akimbo combo's die ook er over gaan.
Dit spel is echt niet de volle pot waard... hoogstens 10 euro achteraf gezien. Singleplayer is het zeker niet waard en online is zo'n rotzooi. |

Ik vermaak me er anders prima mee ?
Jammer dat iedereen altijd zo moet janken over een game.
Het gaat uiteindelijk toch om plezier maken ?
Wat kan iemand het dan schelen of een ACR geen terugslag heeft ?
Echt, iedereen speelt de spelletjes van tegenwoordig véél te serieus.
Het is niet zo dat het een wedstrijd is wie het beste is ofzo hoor ?
& je gaat ook niet opeens dood als je geen eerste wordt
Ik word liever laatste in een potje & dat ik er FUN aan beleefd heb, dan dat ik eerste word in een potje en ik echt serieus mijn best gedaan heb.
Als je competitie wilt, ga je maar weer wars in CoD 4 spelen met Promod eroverheen.
Maar kap dan wel met janken over MW2
Het spel is gewoon lache, en zo hoort het. |

het is super irritant als je net op een killstreak zt maakt niet uit hoe hoog,
word je weer is genaaid door dde lagg als je iemand neerwilt knallen of een rushers knifed je op je word je
getubed....dit gebeurd veel te vaak in dit spel

10 euro korting omdat ik gepre-orderd had en nog 5 euro korting omdat ik een ANWB pas liet zien

binnen een week bij ons in de buurt was die all 45 euro
en nog wat ik heb mw 2 handleiding beetje door gelezen dat ik niet snap er staat op blz 3 ~ BRING UP CONSOLE

Ik geef toe dat het spel ongelooflijk slechte kanten heeft, maar ondanks deze ergernissen heb ik me er toch al behoorlijk mee vermaakt.
Dedi's zouden veel verhelpen, omdat je dan op no-tube of no-weet-ik-wat servers zou kunnen spelen, met normaal gezien ook een betere bescherming tegen cheaters en minder lange wachttijden tussen spelletjes. |

het spel is geweldig maar de cheaters vieren hun nummer 1 positie alom... Er zijn geen dedi's, geen ready up warmode, niet te disabelen tubes, HBsensor, thermals..
Teveel pingissues (bad hosts, netlimiter etc. etc.), killcam die niet helemaal berust op waarheden en zo zijn er nog wel vele dingen...

Wie is er nog positief over de pc versie ?
Ja de cod-ers die niet van het eerste uur zijn... de cod-ers die officieel gezien hun leeftijd niet eens het spel te spelen horen... Dit spel is gewoon een gigantische uitkomst voor men die wil winnen zonder eigen inzet ...
Ik zeg er wel bij, ik speel het... want grafisch en qua gameplay vind ik hem uber, maar dan leg ik me zwaar neer bij de kleine aantal minpunten die ik vermeld heb....

Helaas, we zijn niet helemaal objectief, eenvoudigweg subjectief getint waar nodig. In dit geval is het wat mij betreft ver binnen de grenspalen van fatsoen, en ik zal er daarom ook niets aan veranderen. |

Ik merk dat ik als een van de enige ben die er een beetje tussen de mensen die mw2 haten en de enorme fanboys zoals hierboven.
Ok, het is geen super geweldige game en met de nodige fouten erin, maar de game helemaal afkraken vind ik ook wel wat weer overdreven. Okej, de pc gamers hebben geen dedi en hebben reden tot klagen, maar als een console gamer vind ik het oneerlijk als je de game de grond in boord.
Ok, matchmaking sucks, het inviten van vrienden is onhandiger geworden t.o.v. van cod4/5 en zo kan ik nog wel een tijdje doorgaan, maar als je de problemen even weg denkt, is het toch wel een redelijk aangename game? Tenminste, zo denk ik er over. Ik beleef in ieder geval nog wel een tijdje plezier aan mw2 samen met mijn vrienden, ondanks de vele fouten die de game jammer genoeg heeft.

HC TDM of HQ is ook geen reet aan. JUIST daar wordt alleen maar gecampt. En heeft werkelijk iedereen cold blooded. Alleen HC: S&D is leuk. |

Je hebt misschien wel gelijk, maar IW heeft gewoon té veel weggelaten. Mensen spelen op PC omdat het op zoveel vlakken verschilt van de consoles, en als je dan een simpele Xbox360 port krijgt aangeboden, staat niet iedereen meteen te springen. Dit is dan nog eens een port die zelfs voor de Xbox360 niet 100% in orde was (kijken we maar naar de bugs)
Matchmaking suckt gewoon over het algemeen, op de consoles, ook op de PC: CoD4, CoDWaW, CoD:MW2
Op CoD:WaW vind ik het het ergst, misschien omdat ik daar het meest invite, omwille van Nazi Zombies. Maar ik heb mensen in mijn vriendenlijst staan die mij gewoonweg niet kunnen joinen.
Het is ook een degelijke game, maar meer niet. De graphics zijn niet uitstekend, verre van eigenlijk, vele kleine kwaaltjes, de SP is weeral te kort, volgens mij is het van CoD2 geleden dat we nog daadwerkelijk boven de 9 uren uitkwamen, maar het geluid zit dan weer wel uitstekend in elkaar.
De enorme hype die rond het spel is gecreeerd, met daarbovenop de voorganger (CoD4) die subliem was, maakt van deze game gewoon een Non-CoD game. IW+Activision hebben er zelf voor gezorgd dat de game nog slechter werd ontvangen door een deel van de community.

Het niet kunnen joinen van vrienden en dat zij niet kunnen joinen bij jou is al een langer en bekender probleem, waar ik al vanaf cod4 last van heb (unable to connect to host, op de ps3). Echte duidelijk oplossing ken ik niet, maar het zou iets met je NAT type te maken hebben. Maar ja, ik weet niet op welk platform jij gamed, en eventueel op welke console jij gamed, maar volgens mij heeft elk platform hier last van. |

Ja, zoiets las ik ook op internet. Maar ook als je gewoon mw2 opstart enzo staat er NAT - open. En mijn NAT type is 3, en ik las dat het het beste op NAT type 2 kon zijn? Maar ja, hoe je dat moet veranderen heb ik geen verstand van. |
