| DICE haalt wederom uit naar Modern Warfare 2! |

Liefde tussen hedendaagse ontwikkelaars is ver te zoeken. DICE en Infinity Ward, twee grootmeesters in het befaamde gamewereldje. Infinity Ward werkte zich omhoog met de Call of Duty-franchise en DICE deed dat met de Battlefield-fanchise. Tijdens het dedicated-server sprookje van Modern Warfare 2 haalde DICE ook al meerderemalen flink uit naar de Amerikaanse ontwikkelaar, op de Twitter van DICE was namelijk te lezen dat Bad Company 2 wel gebruik maakte van dedicated-servers. In de game van DICE, Bad Company 2 wordt er op quads gereden in plaats van de sneeuwscooters in Modern Warfare 2. In de inmiddels gelekte singleplayer van Bad Company 2 komt het volgende uit de mond van een soldaat: "It's not a snowmobile...snowmobiles are for sissies!" Precies, signle player was een kruising tussen Far Cry en Crysis.
Wel mooi artwork, maar qua spanning en sfeer is MW2 toch echt beter. Ook de tegenspelers in MW2 zijn beter op level HARD. |

Ik vond de beta ook slap en saai.
Naast MW2 voelt het alsof je een Chihuahua aanschaft om je team van 5 wakende Rottweilers mee te versterken... overbodig doordat er al wat beters is dus. |

Ik vind die demo van Batlefield bad company egt gewoon te slecht lijkt egt te veel op de 1e serie en het spelen gaat gewoon te slecht veel te traag.

Ik vind al die opmerkingen van dice maar gewoon heet gebakken lucht ikzelf denk helemaal niet dat BC2 zon grote hit gaat worden.
MW2 telt op de PC het grootste spelers aantal per dag wat sing jaren op counterstike stond en dat nummer is verre weg van elke andere FPS game die de laatse 5 jaar is uit gekomen.
Daarbij met het hele ranked server systeem en hoe BC2 gehost gaat worden denk ik zeker niet dat het de grote game gaat worden van 2010 het zal best goed zijn mensen maar het gaat zeker geen reccord breken en hoe je het went of keer battlefiled is geen call of duty en of dat nou cod 1 2 4 5 of mw 2 is het is een totaal andere game met een totaal ander publiek. |

Goed gedaan DICE 
Ik vind de beta wel goed, maar de gameplay is wel anders dan in MW2.
Dat is wel even wennen, maar dan heb je er ook iets moois voor terug.
Ik denk daarom dat alle MW2 spellers ook de beta niks aan vinden, want ze durfen zich gewoonweg niet aan te passen aan iets nieuws.
Blijven jullie MW2 spelen maar lekker die flop game spelen, dan gaan wij echte gamers een mooie en echt goed gemaakt game spelen.

Idd, in het begin was het nog wel grappig maar nou begint het mijn strot uit te hangen. Belachelijk dat ze in een singleplayer verwijzen naar een andere game.

Dice arrogant? Infinity Ward moet blij zijn dat ze vermeld worden in een spel van de 'concurrentie'. Overigens moet je niet huilen omdat er kritiek wordt geleverd op een, overduidelijk komische wijze, van een gamedeveloper die zich niet al te serieus neemt. (In tegenstelling tot Infinity Ward).
Overigens, zoals ik al op een ander gelijkaardig nieuwsbericht had geantwoord, moet men dit in een bredere context bekijken.
En inderdaad Destroyer, Call of Duty is een totaal andere franchise dan Battlefield. Echter is de eerste Call of Duty totaal anders met de laatste telg uit de franchise... het verschil is echter zo dramatisch groot dat het triest is dat de laatste telg nog steeds de Francise titel 'Call of Duty' draagt.
Overigens heeft Modern Warfare 2 inderdaad veel spelers, zelfs op de PC. Echter zijn het overgrote deel cheaters, hackers en mensen die het spel illegaal hebben verkregen... iets wat men NIET (in zo'n grote getalen) kan verwachten in Bad Company 2. En daarenboven zijn de meesten die MW2 op de PC spelen mainstream gamers die tevens Steam te ingewikkeld en moeilijk vinden. Bad Company gaat een heuse hit worden onder de 'hardcore gamers' omdat het spel gewoon stukken beter in elkaar steekt (ondanks het feit dat 'wij', PC gamers toch nog op andere vlakken zullen teleurgesteld worden door Dice... maar het zal 'peanuts' zijn vergeleken met wat IW 'ons' geflikt heeft). |

| je hebt ook gelijk Fullmetal ik ben het ook 100% met je eens maar ik denk niet dat de 80.000 MW2 spelers nu ineen keer over zullen stappen naar BC2 daarbij is de tijd windows die je bv als Clan tegenwoordig hebt om een stabiele community op te bouwen in een game tegenwoordig erg klein elk jaar een nieuwe releases denk hierbij aan MOH en COD7 verder op dit jaar ps denk ik dat BC2 er alles aan moet gaan doen om spelers aan te trekken want ik denk dat de cod spelers toch gaan wachten op cod7 van treyarch en in het achterhoofd naar de nieuwe medal gaan kijken maar de tijd zal het leren. |

Echter ben ik ervan overtuigd dat de nieuwste telg in de Call of Duty serie zal tegenvallen qua verkoop en qua gamedesign. Ik verwacht niet bijster veel origineels meer van Treyarch (wat ze ook niet hebben gedaan met World at War). Niet omdat de ontwikkelaar zelf slecht is, maar omdat Activision het liever 'safe' speelt.
Overigens denk ik wel dat het shooterlandschap, althans online, erg verspreid zal zijn. Maar, om het simpel te houden, dit jaar wordt EA de grote winnaar. Bad Company gaat een succes worden (ookal zal het niet 'zo veel verkopen' als Modern Warfare 2... en tevens Medal of Honor gaat ons ook verrassen.
Most Evil: jij bent zo te zien niet op de hoogte van het feit dat Infinity Ward en Dice een 'vriendschappelijke' relatie met elkaar hebben. Het zijn immers ontwikkelaars die ook hun brood verdienen. Denk je nu echt dat zij 'in het echte leven' vol haat tegenover elkaar staan zoals fanboys dat doen? Ik durf er zelfs om wedden dat beide ontwikkelaars de games van elkaar spelen. Waarom zouden ze anders deze 'kritiek' kunnen uiten?
Maar ach, ik praat tegen een muur aan. Je leest niet eens wat ik schrijf en je doet niet eens de moeite om een correct beeld te vormen. Tjah, 'jij je mening' laten we maar zeggen, ookal wil je je oogkleppen niet afdoen. |
