Zo had je in bijna elk deel van de Driver-serie en bijna elk GTA-deel tot San Andreas wel één of andere komische gebeurtenis met een personage uit de concurrerende franchise. Ik ben erg benieuwd, het ziet er veelbelovend uit en (persoonlijk) lijkt het verhaal een stuk boeiender en 'geloofwaardiger' dan Modern Warfare 2.
Tevens, iedereen die het niet zo op de referenties heeft: Dice en Infinity Ward komen goed met elkaar over heen. Het zijn beiden immers bekende developers met beiden grote fanbases en ze brengen beiden games uit die verkopen als zoete broodjes.
Overigens brengen ze beiden twee verschillende soorten games uit. Iedereen heeft zijn voorkeur en daar hou ik het op het moment bij.

Wat is zo serieus aan IW ?
Ze hebben ons eerst genaaid door het leukste eruit te halen zoals:
Dedicated server support, lean, /record en PB
De game is gewoon een port an een console.
Daarbij gebruiken ze nu Valve anticheat en dat merk je ook, want de game is nu een hackers heaven.
Aan die hackers hebben ze nog niet echt veel aan gedaan.
Ik heb nu meer vertrouwen in DICE dan in IW
Ook verwacht ik wel dat de nieuwe CoD van Treyarch beter zal zijn dan MW2 ooit is, want zijn willen toemiste wel luisteren naar de PC Gamers.
Dat heb IW nog niet gedaan en zullen ze ook nooit doen denk ik en dat is wel jammer, want ze zijn door ons PC Gamers wel groot geworden met hun CoD franchise.

JohnFRemco: je begrijpt me verkeerd, Infinity Ward denkt een briljante shooter te hebben afgeleverd met een briljant en serieus verhaal over 'serieuze' soldaten. Ik liet het feit dat ze de game 'serieus' hebben verkloot voor PC gamers terzijde (omdat het niet in elke discussie vermeld hoeft te worden, gezien het al algemeen bekend is).
Overigens is VAC (Valve Anti Cheat) prima... Infinity Ward doet totaal geen moeite om het degelijk te implementeren en/of iets te doen aan hackers. Laat staan dat ze een simpel 'ingame voting' systeem hadden gemaakt voor PC gamers om mensen te kicken...
