We zijn nu 6 delen verder in de CoD-franchise en er zijn intussen al een paar spin offs geproduceerd (Finest Hour, The Big Red One,...) en natuurlijk ook de schitterende uitbreiding United Offensive. 6 delen wil niet per noodzaak zeggen dat we 6 jaar verder zijn, maar daar wil ik het niet over hebben. Er is namelijk vandaag door Activision aangekondigd dat nog voor het einde van dit jaar de nieuwe Call of Duty zal verschijnen. Activision voert dit soort zaken meestal op hetzelfde moment uit, wanneer ze hun derdekwartaalscijfers uitgeven. Genoeg voer voor de community dus om te discussiëren. Hoogstwaarschijnlijk zal het Treyarch zijn dat deeltje 7 gaat ontwikkelen. Wat kunnen we zoal verwachten van deze studio, die nu toch al wel genoeg ervaring moet hebben om een waardige opvolger te maken voor Modern Warfare 2. Wij geven hen het voordeel van de twijfel en houden jullie op de hoogte! |

Sommige studios zoals DICE maken juist kwalitatieve games zonder zogenaamde deadlines van een jaar, waarom zou Activision dat inderdaad niet doen? |

In november ben ik nog lang niet uigespeeld met Modern Warfare 2, dus ik denk dat ik deze lekker aan me voorbij laat schieten en in 2011 weer het volgende CoD deel op pak. |

Treyarch zal nog een gewoon deel uitbrengen denk ik, maar iw komt de volgende keer met een mmo.
Ik hoop dat Treyarch nu ook met een heden spel komt en niet in het verleden, als ze maar geen toekomst spel word met buitenaartse wezen. daar hou ik niet van.

| Ze moeten eigenlijk de komende 2,3 jaar geen CoD meer uitgeven en dan opeens uit het niets een knallend nieuw deel dat elk deel gaat overtreffen. MW2 is een beetje geflopt. Na CoD 4 is het alleen maar bergafwaarts gegaan en heeft IW nooit meer de kwaliteit van CoD 1 + UO weten te overtreffen |

heb ergens anders gelezen dat het waarschijnlijk een Vietnam-oorlog word waar we ons mee mogen gaan bezig houden.
