Robert Bowling heeft vandaag via zijn twitter bekend gemaakt dat de PC versie van Modern Warfare 2 vanaf vandaag zal beschikken over een nieuwe patch. Deze patch verhelpt dingen als het beruchte 'carepackage running'. Je zult het vast wel gemerkt hebben. Mensen die onrealistisch hard over de map scheren en je dood knifen. Dat is natuurlijk niet de enigste fix. Hier volgt de hele lijst:
# Care Package, Emergency Airdrop, and Sentry Gun marker grenades sprint speed normalized
# Sentry Guns: Improved placement detection, preventing cases of Sentry Guns inside geometry
# Model 1887: Bling using Akimbo and FMJ combination now has same range and damage as non-Bling Model 1887s
# Improved player collision removing cases of getting into geometry and 'elevators'
# Mouse latency tweaks for more mouse movement consistency
# Fixes to prevent various texture and XP hacks
Zoals gezegd is de ze patch tot nu toe alleen voor de PC-gamers. De consoles zullen dit keer voor de verandering eens moeten wachten.
De patch wordt automatisch toegepast door Steam zodra je Modern Warfare 2 opstart. |

Wow, IW doet eens iets eerder voor de pc dan voor de consoles.
Een hele vooruitgang zeg.
Heel netjes, beginnen ze eindelijk in te zien dat ze de pc niet moeten achter stellen?
Verder over de updates.
Erg mooi 
Care package runnen weg, is heel goed.
Model bling is hetzelfde als niet, heel goed!
Want het was nog steeds overpowered -,-

Het feit dat je sneller loopt met een care package marker is realistisch te noemen, maar als je ziet hoe snel ze daar mee lopen dan is dat niet realistisch. Ze lopen sneller dan een topsprinter. Als je ook niet hoe men zich beweegt als men deze glitch uitvoert dan begrijp je het wel. Het klopt totaal niet en zo is het in het spel ook helemaal niet bedoelt. |

Jammer nog geen goed war(clan)mod dus nog steeds niet warren.
Cod 2 spelers is fors toegenomen.Ik ga hem ook maar weer installen.
Cod 2 en Cod 4 is populair onder pc-players aangezien je er goed warretjes op kan organiseren.
Helaas is dit bij mw2 absoluut niet het geval systeem werkt gewoon niet. |

| Als je goed leest in het bericht wat hij op twitter heeft gezet, kan je zien dat de PC-versie helemaal niet voorgetrokken is. De patch is voor alle 3 de platformen tegelijkertijd ontwikkeld, maar omdat IW.net geen gedoe heeft met het test team van Microsoft of Sony bij respectievelijk de Xbox 360 en de PS3 komt de pc versie eerder. Wat wel leuk is om op te merken is dat de de PC 2 exclusieve patches heeft gekregen, de muis-fix en een texture fix. |

die 1887 model is volgens mij geen geweer het valt onder shotguns en shotguns moeten het hebben van dichtbij en niet 100meter of verder. ff extra bulletdamage + FMJ en je schiet met die klere dingen door 3 straatblokken heen van een map...(ik weet ook dat dat niet zo is,maar ik wil hiermee ff zeggen dat die 1887 akimbo nog steeds super sterk is )

Op zich is het best stom dat als je met je carepackage rent, nog steeds snel rent, aangezien je je wapen nog steeds draagt op je rug.
Daarbij is het een spel. kogels vertragen niet en hebben ook geen last van zwaartekracht e.d.
Een .50 cal heeft ongeveer een range van 2000 yards en is dan nog steeds dodelijk. Een 5.56 is al zeer snel niet meer dodelijk, t.o.v. de 7.62mm die op lange afstanden nog steeds dodelijk is.
Maarja het blijft een spel en wij denken allemaal dat we elite soldaten zouden zijn. Keep dreaming.

Ik snap niet dat IW nog steeds patches uit brengt voor deze FLOP game.
De patches die ze uitbrengen helpen niet echt tegen de cheaters die nu al veel aanwezig zijn in de game, want ze vinden vast wel weer een manier om deze game dan ook met de nieuwe pacth weer te hacken zodat cheats weer mogelijk zijn.
VAC is gewoon waardeloos als ANTI-CHEAT in vergelijking met PB
Deze game blijft patch na pacth nog steeds een FLOP van een game. |

Het verbaast me hoeveel mensen droevig zijn om die Care Package Sprint.
Ik vind het net een goede zaak dat 'ie weg is, want hij stoorde echt voor de mensen die het spel serieus willen spelen. Dat ze dat bij TDM of FFA doen, ok, dat is gewoon zoveel mogelijk killen, maar in SD stoort het wel enorm. |

Ik heb sinds het downloaden (via Steam, automatisch althans), alleen maar last van lags tijdens het spelen. Ook kan ik niet met alle aanwezige servers verbinding krijgen of wordt ik er gewoon uit gegooid tijdens het laden.

was op ps3 bezig en na teamdeatmach. komt er unlocked (in het rood) daarachter de pijtjes toetsen met het pijltje naar beneden geel. daar achter staat arrow down. weet iemand wat dit is?
tijdens een teamdeatmatch kan ik het presies niet gebruiken want er gebeurd niets.
