| Call of Duty: Vietnam komt in november! |

De top game van videospel-ontwikkelaar Infinity Ward en uitgever Activision, Modern Warfare 2 is nu bijna twee maanden uit en men heeft het alweer over het nieuwe deel van de franchise, deze keer gemaakt door Treyarch. Het speculeren kan beginnen! Dit keer hoeven we geen Modern Warfare of Tweede Wereldoorlog te verwachten, maar waarschijnlijk een game in het verre Vietnam! Back to the 60s!
CVG wist Treyarch te strikken voor een interview, de ontwikkelaar vertelde dat de game komend jaar november verwacht kan worden. Voorschriften van Activision, volgens de Treyarch medewerker. Voor kerst en sinterklaas, toch een tijd waar makkelijk een extra zakcentje te verdienen valt voor Activision. It's going to be November again - just as with World At War and Modern Warfare 2. Activision believes that it can own Christmas again, just as it has in the last two years. Development is on course - and Treyarch have been told the game must be ready to hit shelves before the gifting season.

Houd het alstublieft een beetje proper... En als we het bekijken door de ogen van een casual gamer, waren beide titels geen baggerspelen.
Mijn voorspelling is echter dat Treyarch gewoon niet goed genoeg is om de Vietnamsetting tot leven te brengen. Bijna alle games die deze setting gebruiken failen (zoals WaW en MW2 failen voor sommigen --> minder dan dat je had verwacht)
Er is namelijk een goede AI nodig in de Vietnamsetting, en multiplayermaps ontwikkelen zal niet efficiënt zijn. Hoedanook hebben zij mijn vertrouwen, en hoop ik dat ze er een goede game van maken. |

Als de setting Vietnam is, hoef je hem niet te kopen. Semi automatische wapens zitten er wel in. Heel misschien de Garand, SKS, en nog wel meer van dat soort wapens. |

Ik vind games die in Vietnam afspellen gaaf, dus kan niet wachte op deze relaise.
Hoop alleen wel dat er wel weer dedicated servers en lean in zit en het zal ook leuk zijn als de soundtrack van de Rolling Stones is met het nummer Paint it Black !!!!!
Deze nummer was namelijk erg populair die tijd.
De wapens is niet geheel waar Monkey Soldier, want speel dan meer eens: Conflict Vietnam, Vietcong en Vietcong 2
Dan zie je wat ik bedoel. |

als Treyarch dit gaat maken sla ik een jaar over . ik ga niet weer 54 e wegooien net als met WOW ,spel is na een jaar nog steeds een beta .. but yeah mw 2 rulzzz geen problemen .. werkt prima

Kan wel vet worden. Meeste kennen vast wel de spannende maps uit WAW waarbij die idioten ineens uit bosjes kwamen rennen, gillen en prikken

LIjkt me wel leuk en alles, maar ik vind het te snel na MW2. Ik speel het liefst gewoon de multiplayer van MW2 uit en dan op naar volgende spel. Wat mij betreft zou er best een half jaar langer tussen mogen zitten, maar ik begrijp wel dat ze het vlak voor kerst uitbrengen met opa en oma die voor kleinkind hun portemonnee wel trekken.

| Kunnen ze niets beter verzinnen? Er zijn al lang CoD5 vietnam servers (RGN en Open Warfare) Waarschijnlijk weer zo'n goedkope aanpassing zoals bij COD4 naar MW2. Geruchten gaan dat deze game niet eens voor de PC verschijnt!! |

Dit wordt echt flop naar mijn mening. Je hebt die poep wapens al bij WAW en dan nu vietnam setting. Wat voor wapens zullen we hier kunne verwachten,, lekker semi of zelfs niet automatisch knallen. WOOOO leuk. Doe mij lekker de M16 .MP5, AK$7 etc.
Wat betreft attachments, gadgets etc zal er ook niet veel zijn...
Conclusie: Ze willen gewoon weer geld vangen en proberen doormiddel van een nieuwe setting dit te bereiken, 2de Wereldoorlog zach het gros zoiezo al niet zitten.
Ze zullen bij lange niet het record van MW2 verbreken...
We zullen zien.....

Erm.. M16 en AK47 werden toen al gebruikt... Veel Amerikanen wisselden trouwens vaak hun M16 voor een AK, omdat deze gewoon beter was. Vietnam is ook de tijd van de helikopters (¨Huey¨ Gunship, Chinook (CH47)) Napalm en Agent Orange werden vrolijk door de Amerikanen op de jungle gespoten waardoor velen nog steeds aan kanker en andere ziektes overlijden of verminkt zijn. Ik heb me jaren in Vietnam verdiept en kan dus niet wachten Waarschijnlijk heeft treyarch wel door dat de PC versie zonder dedicated servers niks is.

Ik snap nog steeds niet dat iedereen CoD:WaW zo slecht vond. Ik vond hem heel vermakelijk.
De bugs werden uiteindelijk allemaal gefixed, er werden regelmatig nieuwe maps gereleased, dus echt slechte support voor de community kan je dit niet noemen. Uiteindelijk zijn er zelfs niet meer patches geweest dan voor CoD4.
Dat de wapens BA of semi zouden zijn... Wat maakt dat? CoD1 en 2, nog steeds door velen gespeeld, hadden ook méér BA-rifles en semi's dan volautomatische wapens, en waren echte topspellen, daar bestaat geen twijfel over.
Wat ik ook altijd grappig vind, is dat mensen zeggen "WaW is een pure CoD4-copy en echt slecht, CoD4 was veel beter". Hoe kan een pure copy van een topspel, een echt slecht spel zijn? Die logica moet je me eens uitleggen. Als de graphics hetzelfde zijn, en de perks, en de gameplay, dan is het toch echt datzelfde topspel, maar gewoon in een andere tijd en dus een ander jasje? Als het WOII-jasje je niet meer past, moet je het spel ook niet kopen - want je wist op voorhand dat WaW zich in de Tweede Wereldoorlog afspeelt. |
