| De Redactie Over: de beste Call of Duty-game (deel één) |

Een saaie tijd. Hoewel we werken aan reviews van Modern Warfare 2, valt er hier tot de officiële aankondiging van de nieuwste game van Treyarch vrij weinig te lezen en de lezer zelf heeft wel wat beters te doen. Hoe dan ook, we zijn wegens deze stand van zaken op het idee gekomen om wat andere artikelen te publiceren dan normaal en hier is het eerste deel van een serie met stellingen die door de redactie zelf beantwoord worden. Omdat we een redelijk groot team hebben delen we één en dezelfde stelling, namelijk welke Call of Duty-titel men de beste vindt, in meerdere artikelen op. De eerste vier redacteurs spreken vandaag! Stan (Modern Warfare 2)
Zelf heb ik nooit Call of Duty 1, 2 of 3 gespeeld, dus ik kan alleen beoordelen over de Call of Duty's erna. Mijn allereerste CoD game is Call of Duty: World at War geweest, een geweldige game, alleen vond ik de toevoeging van voertuigen zó jammer dat de game toch een beetje tegenviel. Daarom heb ik besloten een eerder deel te kopen, namelijk Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare. En jongens, wat vond ik dit deel GE-WEL-DIG. De singleplayer was super en de multiplayer was velen malen beter dan die van CoD:WaW. Maar toen, 10 november, kwam de meest gehypte game ooit uit: Modern Warfare 2.
Alles waar zijn voorganger goed in was, daar is MW2 beter in. De Singleplayer vind ik vetter en de toevoeging van de Spec Ops maakt hem alleen nog beter. Maar dat niet alleen, de multiplayer is véél uitgebreider. Meer wapen(attachments), meer challenges en de toevoeging van Callsigns en Emblems is ook een leuk extraatje. Maar wat ik persoonlijk de allerleukste toevoeging vind zijn toch wel de killstreaks. Sommige zeggen dat ze overpowered zijn, maar als je tactisch speelt, valt dit reuze mee! Mijn favoriete Call of Duty is dus Modern Warfare 2! Jochie (Call of Duty 2)
Vanaf het eerste deeltje al verslaafd zijn aan de Call of Duty-franchise, dat is iets waar ik absoluut niet de enige in ben. Het wordt voor mij dus kiezen tussen de Tweede Wereldoorlog-setting of de Modern Warfare-setting.
Na nachten wakker te hebben gelegen heb ik gekozen voor de Tweede Wereldoorlog-setting, nu alleen nog welke game? Call of Duty 2. Tot nu toe de beste Call of Duty die er is, geen overpowered wapens, geen killstreaks en er zijn gelukkig ook geen deathstreaks te bekennen. Het is vooral de (oude-) vertrouwde gameplay die mij blijft aanspreken, in het tweede deel is teamplay het aller belangrijkst, in je eentje ga je het niet halen. Rifles, dat waren nog eens wapens. Mijn favoriet is dus Call of Duty 2. Wintahs (Call of Duty: United Offensive) Bij deze stelling twijfel ik geen seconde, dat is gegarandeerd United Offensive, de uitbreiding van deeltje één, die naar mijn mening toch net een beetje onder doet aan dit pareltje uit 2004 van Gray Matter. De overgrote kern van de gameplay bleef gewoon onveranderd, een run and gun WO2 shooter met als enig doel om zoveel mogelijk Duitsers op het kerkhof te doen belanden. Dit werkte enorm goed, en anno 2009 trouwens nog altijd. De single player campagne was naar mijn mening stukken beter dan die van Call of Duty. Je had echt het gevoel dat je deel uitmaakte van een groter geheel.
De multiplayer is puur goud. De maps zijn groot en slim ontworpen, de gametypes innoverend en de voorloper van het rankingsysteem dat we kunnen zat er ook al in verwerkt.
Er was niets leuker dan met een paar clanmates met een Jeep door Foy scheuren om uiteindelijk oog in oog komen te staan met een Duitse Panzer die je Jeep reduceerd tot schroot. Ook het arsenaal bleef niet onaangeroerd, wapens als vlammenwerpers, machinegeweren met een bipod en bazooka's brengen de nodige variatie.
Een prachtgame die ik nooit verkoop! En dan nog Dancing Lobster, eigenlijk geen redacteur, maar wel als moderator al zeer lang aan de site verbonden. (Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare) Ik heb als grote CoD-fan bijna alle PC-delen helemaal kapot gespeeld. Alleen CoD: WaW heb ik niet echt gespeeld, aangezien ik deze erg vond tegenvallen. Ik heb veel plezier beleefd aan CoD1, CoDUO, CoD2 en CoD4. Nu speel ik vooral CoD: MW2.
Een favoriet kiezen is dan ook erg moeilijk. De settings van CoD4/MW2 en CoD1/2 zijn erg verschillend, en ook de gameplay is erg verschillend. Regelmatig speel ik CoD1 en 2 nog, om de epische gevechten uit de Tweede Wereldoorlog terug te beleven.
Als ik dan echt moet kiezen, kies ik voor Call Of Duty 4: Modern Warfare. De snelle gameplay trekt me enorm aan, en het ranken werkt enorm verslavend. Die snelle gameplay mis ik ook wat bij CoD 1/2. Verder speel ik al bijna 2 jaar wars in clanverband (promod), en ook dat ben ik nog steeds niet beu! Modern Warfare 2 is een goeie opvolger, maar ik mis de dedicated servers en de mod support. Ook erger ik me met regelmaat van de klok aan het IW.net-systeem als het weer eens meer dan 10 minuten duurt om een server te vinden. Mijn favoriet is dus Call Of Duty 4: Modern Warfare. Houd de website in de gaten voor toekomstige meningen!

Ikzelf heb alleen CoD 4 en CoDmw2 egt gespeeld ik heb ook waw maar die vind ik persoonlijn erg tegenvallen.
CoD4 was gewoon egt heel erg leuk en verslavend maar was wel tijd voor een nieuwe dus nu speel ik vooral mw2 maar soms ook nog cod4 |

Hmm, ik vind niet dat je je over iets mag uitspreken als je er geen verstand van hebt.
Als je alle delen nog niet eens gespeeld heb, waarom noem je jezelf dan een gamer?
Ik vind dat enkel de mensen die alle delen hebben gespeeld enkel een realistisch beeld kunnen vormen.

Dancing Lobster heeft groot gelijk!
cod4 is echt het ultieme deel.
en somige mensen denken van niet maar toch is het zo, want je kunt spelen met rank system en je kunt lekker old school spelen Promod.
Promod is een hele goeie verbetering het brengt toch weer een deel van cod2 terug (behalve de rifles dan  ).
en als je niet houdt van oldschool ga je toch gewoon de normale gameplay spelen of je kiest voor hardcore.
je hebt ook dedicated servers en dit zegt al heel erg veel dat dit spel toch weer beter is dan mw2.
en codwaw zombie is misschien wel heel realistisch, maar cod4 is ook heel leuk je hebt meerdere soorten zombie in cod4 dat kun je niet van codwaw zeggen.
mijn mening cod4 blijft voorlopig on top. |

Voor mij is Call of Duty 4 Modern Warfare het beste deel.
Je zou denken omdat ik cod4 zo goed vond dat ik MW2 natuurlijk nog beter vindt.
Maar dat is niet zo.
De singleplayer was super dat wel maar spec ops valt tegen en de multiplayer mist zo hard dedicated servers en mod support. |

Veel mensen zijn van CoDUO overgestapt op CoD2. terwijl cod2 juist een grote Downgrade was tegenover UO. Voor mensen die CoD1 speelde was een prima uitbreiding alleen voor de UO'ers waren dingen als Sprint, granaatcook erge tegenvallers + de remake van de maps suckten zwaar. Meeste mensen denken van UO dat het alleen om tanks gaat en grote maps maar de gameplay van UO is juist beter dan die van CoD1.
CoD2 vond ik echt geen reet aan, mensen die praten over de ''rifle-skills'' hebben het toch mis want dat ligt ook gewoon bij cod1+uo.
CoD 4 vind ik een schijt game met ongelofelijk kut maps, het rank-systeem is een leuk onderdeel maar als de max bereikt is wordt de multiplayer erg snel saai. SP was wel vet.
CoDWaW SP was minder maar de MP vond ik verassend goed, lekker met de oldschool wapens, erg verslavende gameplay. + de Nazi zombie modes, een van de vestste Co-Op's ooit.
CoDMW2 is een leuke game, alleen het MP gedeelte gaat wel echt ver met al die streaks, perks en attacthments.
Voor mij is UO de call of duty. |

Modern Warfare 2 is een leuke game online... echter is het spijtig dat de game zoveel punten heeft waarop het faalt (met name: deathstreaks: wapens die niet in de game thuishoren en die te overdreven krachtig zijn i.v.m andere wapens... belachelijke 'akimbo' combinaties van zware SMG's en/of shotguns).
Het is tevens geen Call of Duty meer in mijn ogen. United Offensive zal altijd de beste telg blijven in de franchise... men moest toch een totaal andere weg inslaan moest met dat kunnen evenaren (qua singleplayer en multiplayer!).
Ik zie dat niet meer gebeuren. Het zal wachten worden op wat Treyarch ons zal voorschotelen én wat Medal of Honor voort zal brengen (even ter informatie: 12 december, of m.a.w. 13 december Europese tijd komt er een degelijke trailer/teaser uit!).
In de tussentijd nog wat andere games spelen (natuurlijk Modern Warfare 2 online) en hopen dat ze iets aan de game gaan doen zodat de gehele ervaring aangenamer wordt online). |

ik denk dat ik 1 van de weinige ben, maar mijn favoriet is cod 2 big red one (gamecube helaas geen online modus).
Ik heb geen idee hoe vaak de single play overgespeeld, met name de allereerste missie waar ik de schermteksten van uit me hoofd ken. |

Zelf heb ik de demo van CoD 4 op de pc gehad, deze haperde. Toen ik het hele spel kocht, haperde het ook. Dus de demo is precies hetzelfde als het spel, meestal. |

| mw2 is schijt m.b.t. de mp. Alles is helemaal naar de knoppen. Je wordt nog wel het meeste vermoord door heli's airstrikes bommen en nukes. Zelfs binnen ben je niet veilig! het had een verbetering kunnen zijn als ze dingen als last stand en noobtubes eruit hadden gehaald. |

ff over de rifles in cod4.
in cod4 is er een mod gemaakt die bijna alle rifles heeft van cod2.
deze mod heeft de zelfde sound effects en de bijna alle wapens zijn het zelfde (niet alles is perfect na te maken )
ik zou zeggen zoek hem op.
en doctor smokey .
jou pc kan hem wel aan (niet high werd al vertelt)
maar als je echt een perfect lopende game wil hebben en het niet erg vind dat je graphics heel laag gaan.
kun je een fps-config downloaden hierdoor gaan alle overbodige dingen in het spel weg.
waaronder cg_drawdecals (kapotte afbeeldingen zoals een muur beschoten door kogels word glad).
deze fps-config geeft jou een hoge fps (de naam zegt het al maar ik maak het duidelijk).
maar inprinsipe (kutwoord kan ik niet spellen XD)
moet hij op jou pc draaien.
en de vraag naar zijn er nog spelers er zijn nog veel te veel XD.
ik heb mw2 ook maar ik speel nog steeds meer cod4 |
