Call of Duty is een first person shooter van Activision, uitgebracht op 29 oktober 2003. Het spel speelt zich af tijdens de Tweede Wereldoorlog, waarin de speler meevecht met de geallieerden; voor het Amerikaanse leger, het Engelse leger en het Rode Leger van de Sovjet-Unie. Het eerste deel van de Call of Duty-franchise kwam in 2003 al uit voor de PC, vanaf morgen is Call of Duty:Classic, de vernieuwde versie van het eerste deel, te downloaden vanaf het Xbox LIVE Arcade, de PlayStation 3-gebruikers moeten één dagje langer wachten, donderdag ligt de game in de schappen van de PlayStation Store. De game was al eerder te downloaden, maar door een systeemfout kon iedereen de game downloaden, ongeacht of je beschikte over een voucher met vereiste key-code. Vanaf deze week is de game dus openbaar te downloaden, tegen een kleine vergoeding van 1200 MS-Points of $14,99. Er zijn natuurlijk ook dingen verbeterd, ten opzichte van het deel dat zeven jaar geleden uit kwam: - 720P graphics
- Dolby Digital sound
- Leaderboards
De vertrouwde gameplay is natuurlijk bewaard gebleven. |

ik had hem al bij de hardend edition gedownload 
vette game en alles is gebleven zoals het was! en dan ook echt alles. het enige verschil is dat hij heeeeeeeeeeeel iets strakker is geworden en dat je met een controller moet spelen.

Je kan hem net zo goed in de winkel halen voor PC. Er zullen weinig PC's zijn die dit niet kunnen draaien en het is nog goedkoper ook. Krijg je UO er waarschijnlijk ook nog bij.
