De Russische dictatuur (of regering) heeft alle Xbox 360 en Playstation 3 exemplaren van Modern Warfare 2 uit de winkels gehaald wegens de content van de ''No Russian'' missie, beter bekend als het bloedblad op het vliegveld. Voor de PC-versie is er al een patch die dat specifieke onderdeel uit het spel haalt. Na irritatie van Russen in diverse soorten en maten over de manier waarop Russische burgers worden gedood en Rusland wordt geportreteerd als één blok terrorisme tegenover de Verenigde Staten, zo zou de storyline geen respect hebben voor de cultuur van het grote land. Binnen een maand zullen nieuwe versies beschikbaar zijn, maar belangrijker voor ons is: gaat dit ook hier gebeuren? |

Er is een massale oorlog aan de gang in Amerika in MW2. Huizen staan in brand en worden kapot geschoten door pantser voertuigen, het is niet dat ze in de game doen alsof de V.S. onaantastbaar is. In CoD4 werden er 30.000 Marines gedood door die nucleaire bom, dan valt dit nog wel mee hoor. |
