| CDA-kamerlid overweegt verbod op MW2 |

Vandaag is duidelijk geworden dat een kamerlid van de grootste politieke partijen van Nederland, het CDA, heeft gevraagd naar een potentieel verbod op de nieuwe Call of Duty Modern Warfare 2. Reden was de beruchte 'vliegveld scene' waar hele groepen burgers worden gedood door een aantal terroristen.
Joop Atsma, degene die het verbod heeft aangevraagd, noemde de scene 'afschuwelijk'. 'Het zet aan tot geweld en dat is verboden'. Coalitiepartij PvdA is tegen een dergelijk verbod evenals de Christen Unie. Een kamerlid van de Christen Unie noemde de missie in het spel 'triest' en 'smakeloos'. Het nijgt volgens hem een beetje de kant op te gaan van GTA. 'Wat heb je er nou aan om ontschuldige burgers te willen vermoorden?'. Daarnaast was een argument tegen het verbod: 'Als je dit verbiedt, wat moet je dan nog meer verbieden? Er zijn talloze films waar nog ergere scenes in voor komen.'
Zoals de meeste weten kun je geweldadige scenes in Modern Warfare 2 overslaan. Mede door dit feit zal een verbod op Modern Warfare 2 niet aannemelijk zijn.

| omg, ze verbieden egt alles het volume van een discotheek etc is tot daar aan toe, maar mensen van een hobbies weerhouden is egt triest. mensen, dan kunnen ze bijna alle oorlog films verbieden, gta en heel veel video games.
