Steam, het nieuwe programma waar Modern Warfare 2 mee gaat werken, heeft op hun officiele website Modern Warfare 2 te koop staan. Opvallend is dat de datum niet 10 maar 11 November is. Hopelijk is dat de tijd dat Steam nodig heeft om het spel te leveren. Laten we daar maar van uit gaan.
Naast deze info staat er ook nog wat informatie over de systeem eisen bij Co-op/Multiplayer hosting:
Om een Co-op of MP match te hosten heb je minimaal een 2Ghz dual-core processor of beter nodig.

cdwow is echt een meesterlijke site  en gratis verstuurd en de games belachelijk goedkoop, enigste probleem is dat het vanuit UK moet komen dus je moet wel ff geduld hebben 
btw, 2/3 weken terug was de game nog 26 euri daar xD |

Het feit dat Call of Duty nu met steam gaat werken. Veel cod-gamers wisten niet eens wat Steam was... Daarnaast zullen we hoogstwaarschijnlijk moeten gaan betalen voor DLC en ook 'the missing dedi servers' zal even flink wennen zijn! |

Steam is opzich niet verkeerd maar ik weet wel zeker dat je die updates moet gaan betalen de zakken vullers ook
en dedicated servers moet toch ook wel kunnen TF2 en KF speel ik ook graag via steam en die gebruiken ook allemaal dedicated servers |

Steam clouds is een service van Steam om al je settings overal te kunnen openen, dus als je ranked op je thuis pc, en je hebt MW2 op je laptop heb je daar dus ook je rank.

Het blijkt dat velen nog niet begrijpen wat er echt mis is. Steam is opzich geen slechte verandering. Een goede verandering trouwens die men JAREN GELEDEN al had moeten doorvoeren.
Enkel IWNET en geen dedicated servers zijn de grootste faalpunten (naast het feit dat dit spel nogmaals is ontwikkeld voor consoles met name specifiek Xbox360). |

Jep de combo steam met dedicated servers had men jaren geleden al meten doen .
Het is dan ook jammer dat geldwolf zampella heeft laten weten dat IW ook helemaal geen dedicated servers meer gaan toepassen ook niet in een later stadium in de vorm van een patch.
