In een interview van GameZine heeft community manager van Infinity Ward, Robert 'Fourzerotwo' Bowling toch wel een opvallende uitspraak gedaan. GameZine stelde de vraag of de Spec Ops modus gemakkelijk via DLC verkocht kon worden. Robert Bowling antwoordde kort maar krachtig 'Ja, dat kan'' Hieruit kunnen we dus opmaken dat de Spec Ops modus misschien niet in de game zelf zit, maar in de game moet komen via een DLC, of dit gaat gebeuren is nog een tweede. De Spec Ops modus bestaat uit drieëntwintig missies met elk een ander doel. In het vervolg komen er ook nog meer missies uit door middel van een DLC.

Zit er zeker weten al standaard bij, anders geven ze er in eerste instanties niet al achievements voor op bv de xbox360. Dat zouden dan ook aparte zijn net als de extra bij WaW

| Gaat waarschijnlijk hetzelfde zijn als bij cod waw. Dus met sepc op modus en een paar missies. En later kan je dan via DLC meer missies downloaden. Zoals je bij cod waw extra maps met wapens etc kon downloaden. |
