Het ziet er naar uit dat Modern Warfare 2 een van de grootste releases ooit gaat worden, dit is voor Activision natuurlijk goed, zij strijken het meeste geld op. Je zou bijna zeggen dat Modern Warfare 2 geen nadelen heeft. De game kent vooralsnog geen nadelen voor de gamers, maar wel voor andere producenten. Michael Pachter van Wedbush heeft aangegeven dat door de populariteit van Modern Warfare 2 het nog wel eens slecht kan aflopen met andere top games, namelijk Assassin's Creed II. Michael Pachter deed de volgende uitspraken in de bonus round van Gametrailers TV: ''The game I think that gets hurt by is this game. I think there’s a lot of overlap of people who played both of those games. And if you have only $60 to spend, the one you’ll not going to buy is Assassin’s Creed II. '' |

Die games zijn sowieso niet met elkaar te vergelijken, vind ik. MW2 is een FPS, ACII is een third person (stealth) game. Ik denk eerder dat de nieuwe Splinter Cell en ACII het elkaar gaan moeilijk maken.
