| Activision was tegen een Modern Warfare game |

Het moet allemaal niet gekker worden. Volgens de Studio Manager van Infinity Ward, Vince Zampella was uitgever Activision tegen een Modern Warfare game. Infinity Ward was al bij Call of Duty 2 van plan om af te stappen van het Tweede Wereldoorlog setting, dit hield Activision tegen en Infinity Ward maakte dus braaf een Tweede Wereldoorlog shooter. Na Call of Duty 2 gooide Activision weer roet in het eten, weer moest Infinity Ward een Tweede Wereldoorlog shooter maken, dit keer liet Infinity Ward niet over zich heen lopen en maakte een Modern Warfare shooter, Call of Duty 4. Bij Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 was het weer hetzelfde verhaal, Activision wilde een Tweede Wereldoorlog shooter, maar kreeg het weer niet voor elkaar. Wie weet wat we nog voorgeschoteld krijgen in de komende jaren! |

| En Gray Matters is gedeeltelijk Treyarch, maar daar gaat het niet om. Er komt nooit meer een game zoals UO, maar toch wil ik er één. |

Trouwens er zit een foutje in het bericht... het is enkel bij Modern Warfare 1 dat men (Activision) nog een WO2 shooter wou van Infinity Ward... bij deze keer zal Activision juist nog een Modern Warfare game willen hebben gehad.
Tevens koos Infinity Ward ervoor om de PC gamers een groot mes diep in de rug te steken en voor consoles (lees Xbox360) te ontwikkelen. Dus in feite heeft activision er weinig mee te maken (want zij waren degenen die van Call of Duty een PC game wilden houden èn nogmaals WO2). M.a.w. de mensen bij Infinity Ward zijn gewoon dikke sellouts... |
