i3d , i3d. We’ve got a problem. Helaas maar waar. CallofDuty.nl was enige tijdje niet te bezichtigen. Een probleem dus. Een defect aircosysteem was de schuldige. Dat een site voor drie dagen niet on-line is, is niet alleen voor de bezoekers vervelend maar ook voor de redactieleden. Groot nieuws ging er namelijk voorbij deze week. De meeste zullen uitgeweken zijn naar andere game- en fansites, de rest kreeg nog gewoon ‘’deze pagina kan niet worden weergeven’’ op haar of zijn beeldscherm te zien. Niets of niemand mag ons iets verwijten, lieve bezoekers. Bij de grote jongens als het NRC handelsblad en de Volkskrant kunnen storingen ook gebeuren. We kunnen het niet altijd winnen van de huidige elektronica.
Gelukkig is de site weer bijna intact en kan er weer (in beperkte tijden) gepost worden. Ik had het al enige tijd klaar staan maar nu kan ik het ook daadwerkelijk posten: het nieuws van de week. Excuses in hoeverre we dat dan wel kunnen maken. Gelukkig worden bij onze webhosting ook maatregelen genomen zodat CallofDuty.nl ook bij defecte airco’s on-line kan blijven. Zoals onze vrienden uit Amerika zouden hebben gezegd: God blame the fucking airco’s. . Die woorden heb ik deze week vaak genoeg gezegd.
