Vele mensen kennen de ergenis wel van de Martyrdom, je hebt net een mooie killstreak, en dan wordt je weer gekild door Maryrdom, zeer vervelend dus. Veel mensen hoopten dat deze perk dan ook niet meer terug komt in Modern Warfare 2. In een interview van Videogamer met Infinity Ward hebben ze gevraagd of Martyrdom terugkomt in Modern Warfare 2, het antwoord van Leed caracter artist Joel Emsleu was: "It's not in the beta... I can't talk about it! We are very, very aware of the community and what they like and don't like, and Martyrdom has caught our attention. I'm happy with how the game is. It's [Martyrdom] treated differently. And I will say this - it fits in perfectly."
Ook vertelde Emslie dat je niet bang hoeft te zijn dat het grote schild dat in Modern Warfare 2 verschijnt, de multplayer uit balans zou brengen. Netjes, zo blijven de multiplayer prestaties gelijk, en weet iedereen weer dat die niet onnodig zun granaten over een huisje heen gooit in goeie hoop  , ik vindt het geweldig van IW dat ze luisteren naar de community, inplaats van hun regeltjes te handteren krijgen de community nu een keer de slag, om zelf dingen aan te spelen naar IW en activision *pluim* |

Het is Maryrdom en niet Marydom...
Ja, nou, dan heb je er een kill bij, echt geweldig -.- Het is veel leuker om MOEITE te doen voor je kills. En de mensen die er dus WEL moeite voor doen worden gestraft met Martyrdom omdat ze daardoor gekild worden, niet eerlijk dus. |

niet helemaal voor de volle 100% mee eens....
ik speel zelf regelmatig (zelf nooit met martyr) en maak genoeg gassies af die denken mij te kunnen pakken met zo'n nade, maar als je een beetje de vaart in het spel houdt ben je al buiten bereik of om de hoek als dat kreng afgaat...
lach alleen maar om die spelers omdat ze die perk beter voor iets anders kunnen gebruiken.
trouwens als ze me wel te pakken nemen is het meestal door geblock of pure pech maar dat hoort in het spel, hetzelfde kan gebeuren met die gozers die met 3 granaten omlopen in de map.... die granatenregen heb ik normaliter meer een hekel aan |
