De PC fans van World at War zitten al een tijdje te wachten op de release van patch 1.6 en de nieuwe maps die hierbij worden meegeleverd. Goed nieuws voor iedereen die zit te wachten! JD2020 plaatste via Twitter en callofduty.com een update m.b.t. patch 1.6. De patch is klaar en wordt momenteel getest op het hoofdkantoor van Activision. De release van deze patch zit er dus aan te komen! De volgende punten zijn verwerkt in patch 1.6: - 3 nieuwe MP maps (Battery, Breach en Revolution)
- 1 nieuwe zombie map (Der Riese)
- Favorieten lijst negeert de filter instellingen
- Toegevoegd: Tijdens een spel de server als favoriet opslaan
- Vriendenlijst: Groene online indicator
Verder zijn er in de patch nog een paar updates geweest tegen het vastlopen tijdens het gamen en zijn er aanpassingen gedaan om MODS beter te kunnen toepassen. |

Dat heeft meerdere redenen:
1. Modern Warfare 2 komt eraan en mensen gaan dus terug naar Call of Duty 4 Modern Warfare.
2. De Mod-Tools bevat vele bugs/problemen die Treyarch tot nu toe heeft geweigerd te fixen, door middel van een patch of update.
Daarnaast kunnen mensen ook een individuele reden hebben natuurlijk .

Welke Fixes heeft deze patch nog meer???
Soms heel soms, loopt mijn spel vast tijdens de Multiplayer. Dan zie ik op het scherm dat de kleuren veranderd zijn.
Het enige wat ik doe is Ctrl alt del, dan kom ik op een menu waar ik het taakbeheer kan open maar dat doe ik niet. Ik annuleer en het beeld wordt zwart, de comp. is druk bezig om cod5 weer terug te krijgen en dat lukt. Alleen wordt je gelijk gedisconnected.
