Sommige MOD ontwikkelaars zijn in staat om twee verschillende werelden bij elkaar te brengen. Dit zien we o.a. in de Galactic of Throwing Acres MOD ontwikkeld door de Blackmonkeys team!

Dit is briljant, ik wou er overigens zelf een artikel voor schrijven maar jullie zijn me voor. Mods zoals de deze en de Vietnam Modificatie voor World at War maken me erg blij. Mensen die zich inzetten om nieuwe content voor een spel te maken en het spel opzich totaal veranderen.
Dit kan erg leuk worden mits men het goed aanpakt (qua gameplay). Visueel en atmosfeer zijn zo te zien dik in orde. Maps zien er ijzersterk uit en de modellen zien er erg accuraat uit (ookal kan ik zien dat de ACOG scopes en M4/M16 geweer modellen zijn overgenomen (met een stel aanpassingen.
Wat het helemaal af maakt zijn de nieuwe effecten čn de nieuwe gezichten (of beter gezegd, oude gezichten van Call of Duty 2).
Laat ze maar komen die mods. Spijtig genoeg krijgen de mod developers te weinig ondersteuning van de ontwikkelaars van de Call of Duty spellen. Toch maakt dit mijn respect voor de modders des te groter omdat zij nog grotere obstakels moeten overwinnen om deze 'mods/total conversions' uit te brengen;
