De Prestige Edition van Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 is in strijd met de Belgische wapenwetgeving. Hierdoor mag het pakket waarschijnlijk niet verkocht gaan worden in België. Dit komt door de toevoeging van de nachtkijker. Of dit ook gevolgen heeft voor de verkoop in Nederland is nog even afwachten.De "Prestige Edition" van Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 is in strijd met de Belgische wapenwetgeving. Dit komt omdat het pakket een heuse nachtkijker zal bevatten. De Belgische wapenwetgeving, welke in 2008 volledig hernieuwd werd, stelt duidelijk dat nachtkijkers, zowel gemonteerd op een vuurwapen als een los onderdeel, verboden zijn. De reden hiertoe is dat deze niet bruikbaar zijn bij sportschutters en niet toegestaan zijn bij de jacht.
Wij vroegen Activision of zij zich bewust waren van dit verbod en welke maatregelen zij zullen treffen tegen een eventuele import. Helaas kon de PR Manager van Activision in de Benelux onze vragen vooralsnog niet beantwoorden, maar kunnen wij in de toekomst wel een repliek verwachten. Wel wist de woordvoerder van Activision ons te melden dat Activision hier geen weet van had.
In principe betekend dit dat de "Prestige Edition" niet onder haar huidige vorm verkocht zal mogen worden in België. Of ook Nederland en Luxemburg, als medelidstaten van de Benelux, onder een mogelijk verbod zullen leiden, valt nog af te wachten. Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 ligt op 10 november in de winkels voor de PlayStation 3, Xbox 360 en de PC.

Ze zeggen dat het een Fully Functional Nightvision Goggles zijn. Ik ga er dus vanuit dat ze ook werken. Maar je kunt van 150 euro. Waarschijnlijk 100 euro Goggles niet verwachten dat ze net zo goed zijn als van het leger |

Airsofft mag hier wel in België en het is echt zalig...doet zo goed als geen pijn...goedkoop( je hebt al een automatische m4 voor 30 euro,5000 bolletjes kosten 4 euro)
Dat een nachtkijker niet mag snap ik niet. Typisch belgisch gelul al zeg ik het zelf...

Ja geimporteerde spellen kun je gewoon op de pc spelen (mits het natuurlijk een PC spel is en geen PS3 of Xbox. Ook moet je een dvd-speler hebben in je pc maar dat heeft tegenwoordig iedereen wel).
Ik importeer ook veel spellen. In de US is Modern Warfare 2 maar 42 euro (ik koop hardened edtion, welke 56 euro is daar) |
