Hoewel een volgende Call of Duty titel nog niet officieel is aangekondigd, spreekt Community Manager Fourzerotwo er toch duidelijk over. Zo gaf hij uitleg over ‘Focus Groups’ en ‘Kleenex Testing’, oftewel gamers die een spel in vroege ontwikkelfase testen. Hetgeen dat moet duiden op een begin van een nieuwe game... Activision en Infinity Ward zitten sinds korte tijd achter deze tests. De bedoeling erachter is om de invloed van de community te vergroten en feedback te winnen. Zo heeft Activision enkele groepen mensen uitgenodigd om feedback te geven over de basiselementen van de nieuwe game, die geen directe betrekking hebben tot de gameplay, zoals het verhaal. Vorige week werd een start gemaakt aan de ‘Kleenex Testing’. Doodgewone gamers uit de community worden uitgenodigd om in de studio een hele vroege status van het nieuwe concept te zien, om vervolgens haar of zijn mening te geven. Infinity Ward nodigt express zulke gamers uit, om juist even de professionele meningen naast te laten. Uit deze reactie kan de ontwikkelaar juist veel feedback uitputten.
