Infinity Ward heeft gereageerd op het gerucht dat gamers in de toekomst moeten gaan betalen voor de multiplayer in de Call of Duty serie. Volgens de ontwikkelaar heeft het gerucht niets te maken met de games van Infinity Ward en zal de multiplayer altijd voor iedereen gratis zijn. ''So don't worry,'' aldus Robert Bowling namens Infinity Ward.
Het gerucht dook op nadat Activision in een onderzoek aan gamers had gevraagd of men iets zag zitten in een betalingssysteem waarbij spelers online konden gamen, nieuwe content ontvingen en toegang hadden tot bèta’s. Maar volgens Infinity Ward heeft dat dus geen betrekking tot de Call of Duty serie. De ontwikkelaar benadrukt daarnaast dat een dergelijk systeem ook nooit in Modern Warfare 2 zal worden geïntroduceerd. |

| Het gaat hier om call of duty, maar op de xbox moet je altijd al betalen als je multiplayer wilt gaan spelen voor elk spel dus eigenlijk! |

Gelukkig dat we niet hoeven te betalen voor MP.
We betalen immers de game in de winkel al!
ik hoop niet dat call of duty in de toekomst alleen te downloaden valt, net als Battlefield 1943.
Maar gewoon in de winkel met DVD en hoesje, (in toekomst mischien wel bluray voor games.

Zowieso hebben ze daar geen zin in, ze zitten al op een 2 jaar limiet per titel en dan zou je ook nog eens veel extra content moeten maken.
Die content zal ook ooit moeten ophouden dan wat betekend dat MP weer gratis wordt, dus hoe krijgen mensen die nieuw zijn dan de updated versie van de game?
Is vrijwel onmogelijk, maarja Infinity Ward zou ons dat nooit aandoen. |
