Vrijwel direct na de aankondiging van beide heren, pakt Jason West de controller en begint een demo van de Xbox360-versie van Modern Warfare te spelen. Het demolevel draagt de titel 'Cliffhanger' en speelt zich af in het gebergte Tian Shan in Kazachstan. In de schoenen van sergeant Gary 'Roach' Sanderson, lid van de speciale Task Force 141, riskeer je je leven door samen met levelpartner kapitein MacTavish op smalle paadjes met uitzicht op diepe afgronden te lopen. Samen trotseer je met enkel een ijshouwel in beide handen de gevaarlijke steile ijswanden. Terwijl de kogels je om de oren vliegen en de explosies elkaar hevig opvolgen, probeer je een vluchtweg te vinden. En daarbij blijken twee sneeuwscooters - eerder gespot in trailers - een uitstekend middel voor te zijn. Een heftige rit door het besneeuwde landschap is onvermijdelijk. |
