Volgens een onderzoek van de Universiteit van Rochesterster is het spelen van actiegames als Call of Duty goed voor de ogen. De Amerikaanse universiteit bewees dat gamers die actiegames spelen subtiele verschillen in grijstinten makkelijk kunnen onderscheiden.
In het onderzoek werden er twee groepen gemaakt van 22 studenten. De eerste groep mocht aan de slag met Call of Duty 2 en Unreal Tournament 2004 en de andere groep speelde de iets rustiger The Sims 2. De personen van de eerste groep waren beter in staat de kleine grijstinten van elkaar te onderscheiden. |

| Ik twijfel ook een beetje aan de betrouwbaarheid, maar goed wat maakt het uit! Het klinkt inderdaad logisch, gamers zijn vaak HEEL erg gefocust op kleine verschillen in kleur: waar je tegenstander zich bevindt. |
