Treyarch heeft gisteren een hotfix voor enkele problemen in de Xbox360 en de PS3 versie van Call of Duty: World at War uitgebracht. Dat maakte community manager Josh Olin bekend. Met een simpel trucje was het mogelijk om uit het level uit te gaan en zelfs andere gamers de server uit te schoppen. Ook zijn er enkele wijzigingen in de Map Rotatie en de Playlist aangebracht. Zo is de playlist van de gametype Hardcore Ware teruggezet naar de 9v9 situatie en zijn alle voertuigen verwijderd van de Hardcore playlist. Daarnaast zijn de mappen Roundhouse en Upheavel toegevoegd aan de maprotatie van de gametypes Free-for-All en Hardcore FFA. De allerbelangrijkste wijziging is de verwijderen van de zogenoemde bipods (uitklapbare standaars van bijvoorbeeld een automatische machinegeweer) bij het voorover leunen. Daarmee konden gamers uit de map stappen.
