Vandaag is er een 'hotfix' voor de Linux Files voor Call of Duty: World at War vrijgegeven. De nieuwe update verhelpt het probleem met het niet kunnen draaien van modifications op de Linux server en de DemonWare spam. Direct na de uitgave van de bestanden werd duidelijk dat het veel fouten bevatte. Klik hier (eigen mirror) om de hotfix te downloaden. Ontwikkelaar Ryan heeft met toezegging van Treyarch de update niet laten controleren bij het testlab, waardoor de bestanden sneller konden worden vrijgegeven. Ryan benadrukt wel dat het downloaden en het overschrijven van de bestanden op eigen risico is. Na het installeren moet het bestand worden uitgepakt en overgeschreven worden op het bestand 'codwaw_Inxded-bin'.
