Nogal vreemde snuiter die vader. Hij is 'bezorgd' om wat zijn kind speelt en hij gaat enkel af van wat de doos aan informatie verschaft over de game.
Het grappige is dat hij niet eens weet dat de singleplayer campaign je de keuze stelt om krijgsgevangenen (lees: soldaten die zich overgeven) te doden. Wat? Keuze wat zit ik nou te raskalen... ze worden sowieso gedood (neergestoken, neergeschoten, levend verbrand...).
En tevens vind ie Grand Theft Auto en Mass Effect dan niet geschikt (als je ze naast elkaar legt zijn GTA en Call of Duty World at War beiden vol met geweld... enkel zitten er meer 'volwassen thema's' in GTA).
'Bottom of the line': ik vind zijn beweegredenen nogal vaag.... hoe kun je in godsnaam een game verbieden of goedkeuren als je hem zelf niet hebt gespeeld?
Hij doet maar wat ie wil... hij kent z'n koters beter dan een ander dus. Ik zou ook streng toezien op wat m'n kind(eren) spelen. Maar ik zou de games eerst zelf spelen vooraleer ik het m'n kinderen laat spelen... en ik zou ook rekening houden hoe mijn kind zelf is als persoon (hoe hij tegenover geweld staat, of hij 'volwassen' genoeg is/beseft dat alles maar een game is en dat hij bijvoorbeeld buiten het 'geweld' kan kijken).
