Activision Blizzard heeft een winst van 4,1 miljard dollar over het kalenderjaar 2008 gemaakt. Dat werd bekend gemaakt bij een jaarlijkse terugblik. Activision was verantwoordelijk voor 2,8 miljard dollar. Blizzard mocht 1,3 miljard dollar winst tot zich rekenen. Voor Activision zorgde vooral Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare voor de hoge winstnotering. Vorig jaar fuseerden de bedrijven Activision en Vivendi Games tot Activision Blizzard.De fusie hebben beide bedrijven veel geld gekost, maar de fusie heeft zijn vruchten afgeworpen. Wat je nu zegt klopt niet. Het gaat hier om 4,1 miljard winst, nettowinst te verstaan. Dat beteken dat hier dus al alle kosten en belasting vanaf zijn. Deze 4,1 miljard is bestemd voor de reserve en voor de aandeelhouders. |
