Bericht van Liquz:
Linux is een besturingssysteem net zoals Windows, maar dan gratis. Tenminste.. het wordt gratis uitgebracht. Veel webservers waar Gameservers op worden gehost draaien op Linux, omdat dat een goedkoper besturingssysteem is. Maar dan moet er ook een versie van CoD: WaW op Linux komen. Nou wordt er nooit direct in het begin een spel omgezet naar Linux formaat, omdat er eerst nog vaak patches uitkomen die veel verbeteringen meegeven. En als er een nieuwe patch uit komt op Windows, zal dat ook moeten komen op Linux. En Linux werkt op vrije basis. Dus er zal nooit een snelheid achter zitten als bij Windows.Nou zijn ze na de uitgave van Patch 1.2 begonnen met het maken van Linux voor CoD: WaW. En ze zijn nu met de laatste fase van testen bezig. Als eenmaal de Linux versie uit komt. Zal je ook zien dat veel meer Game-Hostings gaan stunten met prijzen. Omdat veel Game-Hostings linux draaien en nu ook servers willen verhuren. Een bedrijf als I3D heeft Windows en Linux servers. Maar veel kleine hosting bedrijven wachten op Linux net zoals mij eigen Clan. Wij hebben een Dedicated met Linux. En zo kan het vrij lang duren voordat je eindelijk je CoD: WaW server hebt Hopelijk genoeg info |

Mensen die proberen een mod te draaien op de linux patch zullen merken dat dat niet tot half werkt.
de ff file wordt niet of niet goed uitgelezen.
Dit is te verhelpen door de mod handmatig in je player map te plaatsen.
De ff file zal niet via redirect gedownload worden.
