| Linux bestanden World at War wellicht volgende week |

Treyrach heeft bekend gemaakt dat de Linux bestanden voor Call of Duty: World at War hoogstwaarschijnlijk volgende week zullen worden uitgebracht. Community Manager Josh Olin maakte dat bekend op het officiele Call of Duty forum. Momenteel worden de bestanden getest. Naar verwachting kan Treyarch volgende week de bestanden vrijgeven. Als alles mee zou zitten is een release op aankomende vrijdag mogelijk volgens Treyarch. Daar gaat de ontwikkelaar echter niet van uit en verwacht ergens volgende week de bestanden pas vrij te kunnen geven. De bestanden worden pas sinds een halve dag getest, dus veel informatie over vorderingen zijn er nog niet. Het ontbreken van de Linux bestanden voor World at War wekte al sinds de release van de game irritatie op bij de community. Het is niet de eerste keer dat een ontwikkelaar van een Call of Duty faalt om de Linux bestanden niet op tijd vrij te kunnen geven. Eerder had Infinity Ward ook al moeite om de bestanden vroeg uit te geven. |

Wij als clan wachten al zolang op de de linux files,
Wij hebben al vanaf october een dedicated server er voor genoemen.
Dat betalen wij hele wat geld er voor per maand,
Op het ogenblik wordt COD4 k3/paintball en waffle mod er op gedraaid.
Als de files zijn vrij gegeven kunnen wij uiteindelijk op ons eigen server spelen.
Jij hebben gelijk dat COD UO moesten wij ook een maand op de files wachten, maar dit is wel een beetje gek aan het worden.
